Someone suggested before to move all your creds to cash before you sell buffs so you can track bank tips better.

Honestly, I don't worry too much about it. Having someone stand there and argue about whether or not he/she paid is bad for business. My lines are too long to be able to prove without a doubt whether they paid or not. And I don't have the time to challenge them.
You have a choice... accept bank tips and make your lineups easier to manage, or don't accept them, and make your life more hectic, and argue a lot.

I only take cash and have never had a problem. Sure, I get the occassional "I do not carry cash.", but I just explain to them and let them decided if they want my buffs. They usually do since most times I buff early am PST.

I no longer accept bank transactions but then I haven't for a long time.I was bugged where the bank was concerned for weeks now.

Now I only accept cash tips and trade window transfers.Tipping cash only isnoted in my buff selling shout, tip reminder, AFK information message, my bio and when I first buff the person I remind them again. If they still choose to tip me by bank it is totally up to me if I want to accept it as legit.I do try to watch my account but with the tell hell all drs go through while buffing..who can keep track all the time?

There has been one or two customers who get upset after standing in a long line but then they must have not been paying attention. I have evenhad a few try to make a scenebut when they start getting upset I have had other customers behind them tell them off for not paying attention.

In the long run I don't think i have lost any real percentage of volume for business.80% of my customers are repeats and happy to oblige.

I do a lot of buffing for cash. This issue has been interesting in a human nature standpoint. Just for fun I did the following:

1. I moved all my back to cash

2.Charged 10k a set so it was easy to watch my account.

3. Then let people tip or bank tip.

I then buffed about 100 people. Here are the results.

A. I got about 60 bank tips. I did not count them but it was clear that more people bank tipped.

B. People who complained about the price also bank tipped even though the bank was 20 steps away.

C. Only 1 bank tip scammer. I am sure they scammed but I did not bother fighting them. They stole their honor not my money.

D. One guy complained about the price, got the buff, and then said he would pay after running amission but never did. Again, it was his honor he stole.

Summary

IMO the vast majority of people are trusting. The others, well, I just consider them a critical fial and move on.

I just shrink my inventory window down to the smallest size and place it in the rightupper corner of my screen where my finances are clearly visible and I just watch the increases.. I tell people do not tip or bank tip until the first buff and if they do they run the risk of me not seeing it or being able to prove the did (which would slow up my line even more) and when I receive the bank tip mail I can easily tell if my balance has increased.. Already had a few people try to pull a fast one on me and after I explained how I monitor it and tell them it would be easy for a CSR to track if the funds actually went out, they usually either cash tip or walk off with only a few words (they know what they tried to do and know what will happen to them if they are found out.. because the morons just sent the evidence of their scam to my mailbox..) some people. IMHO I prefer bank tips.. its easier to keep track of who has paid and its like a reciept to me so I know how many people I have buffed that day and how much money I took in. But why they would want to pay the additional % for using it is beyond me..
