Thread: Resuscitate/No insurence/corpses (soon to be back)
I'm glad to hear that they are doing SOMETHING about this AutoInsure thing. Ever since I've become a Doc that could revive I've wanted autoinsure off. It's killing the ability and damping our profession. The damage to ALL uninsured items on CLONING I like... resources or not. The basic thing here is the fact that people should not die. Dying needs it penities.
So...
Yes - Cloning should provide the damage to everything thus revive saves it.
Yes - EVERYTHING uninsured should be damaged
Yes - People need to stop complaining about penities of death. It is DEATH after all.
Yes i saw that...which I back. I have heard a singular account that meds/resources are exempt from decay. Don't know for certain yet.
Jacore
ps...the gun can fire a lot longer than 40m NiteFire.
There's quite a few problems with this (proposed) change..
Most players I know don't necessarily mind getting killed to their own fudge up, HOWEVER we have:
-mobs that insta-warp 60m and are now right on top of you before you can even damage them
-buggy HAM bars that show 100% after buffing even if the player is incapped
-problems like getting incapped while coming off of spice/food buffs
-the absolute INABILITY for PCs to even withstand ONE hit from quite a few mobs
-exploiters who can kill covert players while traveling
-crafters that NEED to make stuff at private crafting stations in their PA halls/houses outside of town
-random spawns of highly aggressive, incredibly high HAM mobs on all planets
I'm sorry but if SOE thinks I'll stick around to be yelled at by someone because I either couldn't heal them fast enough or because of a bug that showed them with 0 dmg then SOE is highly mistaken.
Yes, death needs some form of penalty but this is just poorly planned/thought out. Heaven forbid another patch like the last one makes it out after this change (if it goes live). Remember how fun non-working armor was? Or how many people were happy to get incapped from the buff/spice/food bug? now imagine the same people losing a % of their items' lifespan from these bugs..
