Tell him that he is welcome to never get buffed by yourself ever again when there are no other doctors around. You weren't wrong, 1900s are fine for grinding caveman missions. When I was on Sunrunner, I'd have paid 50k for 1900s now before 10k for 2500s in 10 minutes... in those 10 minutes I can make a good 60k so I come out... 10k ahead? Something like that. I'm sure my math is screwed right now, really tired.
Anyways, tell him he can take his comments and shove'em b/c he asked you for a buff and there were no other docs around, and it was more than enough for "the grind".
Maybe not in so many words, I'm usually nicer about it than that... but it's the thought that counts, right?
EDIT: 20k ahead b/c it's +10k over 10 min vs. -10k over 10 min... I knew I was messed up there somewhere.

I am not a doc, but here is a true story.
I am so pissed off about the lack of doctors available in game for buffs due to ignorant players, that yesterday I paid 100K for a buff to a doctor even though I had to wait almost 1/2 an hour to get it. It was just sad the number of people asking stupid questions and harassing the doctor. I used to be a doc, and know firsthand how it feels.
Tell them to bugger off, there are lots of us out there who would be most appreciative of getting a buff, all too often we have to go searching, wasting mission time and costing travel expenses. Your price is not at all unfair.

I have been playing this game for over 6 months and still dont get it why people moan about buff prices. Its takes about 10 minutes for anyone who is able to take on these cavemen to make their money back. The next two missions could potentially pay for food and armor decay. The rest is purely profit. How much of an easy life is that? As a master swordsman and doctor (trying to master it the hard way 
), I make an easy 800K - 1mil in one buff session. Something would be seriouly wrong with me if I complained about a 15K buff that allowed me to make that much of money. I guess there are alot of tards around who have nothing better to do then moan.

...and about 2 seconds later, 4 million chubas spawned in the Mining Outpost... each one then proceeded to hit me for 1 damage, and as you can imagine, 4 million x 1 is a lot of damage for my poor toon to take.

He should have asked how much the buff would add to stats and for how long. You weren't sitting there spamming "Buffs for 15k" or anything, right? He asked you, so we know he's capable of asking a simple question.

I am a master doctor. As I just started out fresh on Ahazi, I didnt have money or resources for buffs, so a new friend bought me 5 sets of buffs which was awesome. (anyone who buys buffs knows how big a cost this is to give to "the new guy").
Those buffs were not the best uber powered buffs, but they work fine - 1950ish for 2.5 hours.
The point? I made 1,050,000 credits in 1:50 minutes running missions yesterday (duration of musician buffs, minus travel to a player city), by just blowing up the Janta / Mokk lair and driving off.
And people wonder why I dont buff! Ha!
Yesterday I buffed a PA member, got at least 10 tells asking if I was buffing, told them all no and said no in spatial chat. I was called a loser, a homo, a b@#$%, a jerk. I was told I was not playing my profession right as people who play docs play "to help others" ect. Yeah, they were real nice - till they found out I was not going to give them what they wanted.
I went to a med center, and a guy was very heavily wounded. Healed him 944 health wounds and 600 action wounds in 1 shot each. He said What the f@#$ and ran off. No hi, no thanks, nothing.
Yup, things are still about the same as when I left, sadly.

Honestly, it rarely worth it to argue with these people. If they give you gruff about what you charge, add ignore them. Their 10-15k is not worth the trouble.

No doubt. It's funny that someone complains about a product when they did no research on it. It's also humorous that a few months ago a 1900 buff was considered perfectly acceptable...heck, 1300-1400 was just fine for leveling.

The thing that gets me is we hear the same story over and over. I mean come on people. Just like any business we as individuals have the right to refuse anyone's business. So do so. If they grief Add Ignore and move on. What they going to call the better business Bureau and file a complaint against you? The best way to deal with these Idiots is to ignore them and buff people that know they can make theoir mony back x100 fold. Those are the people who tip you 20-50k for buffs because they make hella profit from your enhancements. So anyways enough rant.. Peace out.
