Thread: Wookiee Master Doctor

Just a few questions about my charater. I've been a master doctor for about six months. My charater is a Wookiee. I have a couple of 15% crafting tools and a 43% crafting station. Assuming that I can get good quality resources, I plan on starting to build my own buffs. I have always bought them in the past. My main question is, can a Wookiee wear a doctors crafting apron? Based on my play as a Wookiee, I would say no but I want to ask if anyone knows for sure. Secondly is there a food I can use when crafting to help? I've crafted a few buff packs and read all the information about OQ DU PE etc...so I don't want to get into that here. If anyone has a tip or two for a Wookiee crafting doctor, your input would be appreciated. Thanks.

My wookie char was not able to wear the crafter's apron. I tried it a few months ago.

No, Wookiees can not wear crafting aprons. No biggie though..you can easily find a tailor to have them craft you any wookiee clothing of your choice with +25 Injury Treatment and +25 Wound Treatment.
I use a wookiee sage hood with my medical mods in it.

the +25's aren the same as the crafters apron, the crafters apron is a limited use schem that gives 5 to assembly and experimentation (medical)

My bad..i had to go back and read it again. 
Yeah during the actual crafting of medicines i have no clue if wookiees have anything to wear to help out.

I am a wookie master doctor have been a doctor for about six months myself also. ive made my own packs for quite awhile however I am not one of the 12 point doctors on my server. We are not able to wear the apron and the skill tapes go fast and expensive on the trade forums. Ive seen as high as 4 million credits a point for +medical experimentation Armor and Clothing Attachments.
Ive been able to craft decent 2400 x 3.5 hour buffs without the two additional points. In most cases the additional points with the avilable resources end up going into lowering the skill use whic for us master dont mean a whole hell of alot.

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I will be looking for better resources and forgetting about having any assembly bonus points. Wookiees get the shaft again. Oh well, I wouln't trade being a Wookiee,I love it.

The FS experimentation does not grant more experimentation points. It only increases your chances of success.

i am a wookiee maser doc and no you can't wear a crafting apron, and the skill tapes are ridiculously priced.....you need 10 exp point to get 1 more crafting exp point.....so unless you have about 20 million to spare on tapes that are impossible to find, good luck.

Unless you have an extra +5 in med exp tapes.... the apron isn't any good anyway.
Stand in a research center city and use a droid crafting station for best schematics....
You can also use the chef expeimentation food or get FS experimentation....
But really, it's all about the number of expermintation points.... that's what seperates the good from the mediocre.....

There is the alternative of the long, painfull road that is the FS crafting trees. At the cost of a few skill points that is. I don't really see why wooks don't get crafter's aprons not fair if you ask me. But anyway if you choose to pursue that 12 pt status I wish you the best of luck my furry friend.

I wonder....
Wooks may not be able to wear the apron, but we can wear waist wraps, arm wraps/gloves/etc, shirt thing (forget name). These can have sockets, so if we were able to get our furry hands on some CA in med assembly and med experimentation, I wonder if this wouldnt be the same as what other races have with the apron...? What say you?
