Thread: So I got in a duel the other day

Im really hopeing this isnt a reaccuring incident
i was in Theed (i think maybe c-net) the other day and decided to duel a BH for fun,just to see how bad id lose. (im master rifles/master doc)
So they challenge me to the duel and i decide im gonna buff first. once my first buff hits i see the duel get cancelled. when i asked the BH what up, i got a stupid responce. "well if your buffed then your gonna have to buff me too or else the duels unfair"
i gave the responce "what the $%!@?" and then he went on to tell me what buffs did, cause as a doc i prolly had no idea what buffs were. i told him"i used my SP to be a doc, you used yours to be a BH" he told me i was scared and if i ever wanted to have a fair duel to send him a tell then. and then he ran off.
this has happened to me a couple times now. Am i the only one that finds these retards or have other people dealt with this?

No see most people are semi-slow people out there who believe both people need to be bothed for it to be a "fair" duel. In all honesty a truely fair duel would be useing your temp for what its for and not aiding your opponent. Sad enough as it is i have to both almost everyone i duel and i still win so you just gotta et used to it or take a stand. i kno its extremly lame but theres really nothing you can do

I have problems with this a lot. Thing is, I'm mswords/mdoc, and generally get challenged to duels by ranged profs. They get mad when i buff and heal during fight. Well, what am i supposed to do when their first attack is root? I'm not gonna stand there doing nothing while I get pummeled from 30m away. Point of a duel is to win, of course i'm going to use every means i have to survive and get an edge. If these people take such offense to someone using all the skills they have at their disposal, maybe they should quit picking on someone flying a master doc tag over their head.

Yes it happens. I just recently got Master Doc and i havent dueled anyone YET. But ive seen it with my alt in the cantina. One person is a Doc and buffs themself and the other cancels the duel because they are buffed or they start healing.

Yeah i dueled someone the other day and after i incapped them they were like "thats not fair i didn't know you were going to heal" HELLO SEE THE MASTER DOCTOR TITLE?!? dubba tee eff... do you want me to do?
Most of the time I buff them anyway, duel them then beat them just so they will shut up.. then they complain about the healing..

This is why I simply decline the duel invitation. I've never had a Bol, Kimogala, or Chuba send me a hate-tell or complain about buffs or healing.

but i get the ocacional one from the ancinet krayt in the form of server lag

Creature Handlers get the same crap over our pets...can't use them because it isn't fair...utter bs imo...
if they cancel the duel when you buff yourself just call them a wuss...you're not the one who's afraid...they are...you're just using your skills...

As a BH and an aspiring Doctor on my alternate account, I can say that the BH was a wuss. In a duel, you should use everything your own template has to aid yourself. If you challenge a Doctor, expect them to buff/heal themselves, if facing a CM, expect heals/debuffs, if facing CHs, expect to deal with pets.
I swear, the players of this game are starting to get more and more stupid each day.

Buffs are part of a docs inate skills so been p!ssd cos ur buffed is crazy, tho if i fight a non doc who is buffed i would prefer to be buffed as well

Its because people are joining the game andeverything just gets handed to them on a silver platter so they think they know something or two about this game.....i hear ya thou some people just......
