Hi, im Sila, and I am currently a master doc on the Naritus server. Im having a problem making Buffs, I have good resources , and good chems, solids and ABEC, I used to make power buffs at 880-884, now There MUST be a glitch. Im recieving power in the low 500's and the power is maxed out with still 2 points left over.

Please IS this Nerfed.....Glitched....answers??

ah a fellow Naritus player...

Can you give us a few details? what are the stats of the resources, ratings for tools/station, how you're experimenting, etc? i just recently finished a run, and had no problems (well other than the usual problems, that is.. heh)

Hey man, my friend also had the same problem with the buffs... My Resources are ...

ABEC: 16 charges 21 Power
Chems: 64
Solids: 70

Avian Meat is 900 / 888 Dr is in 600's (that yavin avian meat that u probably have also)
And standard Reactive Gas 970's 770's ...

Im also an 11 Point doctor and it maxed power at about 500, wierd...

glitch, Nerf , ? cant be the resources

How many attempts have you made? Was you paying attention to what kind of success you got? Sounds like a critical failure in there to me...

880's seems right for maxxing out the effectiveness line with those components and resources. Unless you had some lower quality avian meat or gas in your inventory that you were using accidentaly, it looks like a bug. Try some different avian meat and/or gas and see if you still get such low results.

Although I've had quite a few glitches myself when making buffs (seems the different exp bug LOVES me), I'm leaning towards master's idea here. Probably just got a few regular successes or a crit fail in there. Did you notice if you even filled up the power exp bar? If it still had open ones left then there's your answer.

Wow, I never see any naritus folks beside oriz on here. /cheer

Don't forget that the success ratings you get when you experiment on power is an average of the two success ratings of power and duration. It is possible that you crit failed power and amazing success'd duration. This would lead to an increase in duration and a major loss in power, but you would see a good success message on screen. What did the duration come out as?

If this isn't it, idk. Possible that the new patches for 9 threw a glitch in there temporarily.

Sila,

I used almost identical stuff to you, on Naritus, about 2 weeks ago. Av was the 900/882 Yavin stuff. My gas wasn't as good as yours - OQ917/DR774. My ABEC's were 17/17. My SDS was 70. My ACDRM was 64. My buffs were 875/11275. I hope you get this figured out, because I have enough resources left over for another run of 125.

He said in the original post that the effectiveness bar was at max, with 2 points to spare.

I had a similar glitch/happening once. (I am on Chilastra.) Sadly it was with Janta blood, I attempted a Stamina D Enhance. The max points I could spend in the three lines were just way too low, something was wrong. I used the same ingredients I used at that time which gave 2 points more to spend (in power for instance). Then I checked my ping counter.... it was horrible! (and I was on dial-up). Guess my connection was not optimal that day.
