Thread: Are these buff packs any good?

So, I've been playing around with my buff packs quite a bit lately and my latest conncotions are as follows:
Non MD packs: 945/3h18m/30/89
MD packs: 947/3h18m/30/91
Those are pretty darn good, aren't they?
Not bad for a first go at it. Keep trying. Maybe buy some of those resouces kits I have been hearing about.

what? there is no reason to go mu 89 vs 90
Both have the same number of charges and the difference of only 2 points on the power between them isreally toosmallto be worth limiting your sales to only Master Docson one of them.

Many times, MU 90 can't be hit. More often than not, the packs are 91 at assembly and experimenting with one point brings them down to 89. Strangley, this seems to have lead to many dabbling doctors not realizing that they can use 90 MU packs if they have a +90 MU skill. I once had one standing right in front of my shop (which was fully stocked with 90 MU packs) offering people money for a WP to a buffs vendor with 89 MU packs on it.
lmao!
Yeah, med use must be an especially complicated system, since very few seem to have mastered its intricacies... My favorite is always the people who'll buy a set or two of enhances followed by a crate of 55-MU flame blankets (for at least twice the cost of the 60+ MU blankets that are sitting right next to them).

The reason I sell two lines is because there is a psychological difference for some players between 25XX and 26XX, even if there's only 6-8 points difference in the total buff strength. Thus, the master docs like to get the 947 packs, because they can charge more for them based on that psychological misconception.
The dabblers buy up the 945 power buffs like crazy, which is about as good as you can get for a 90 MU pack on lowca.
Well I can understand a big psychological difference between 2450 and 2500 buffs or 2550 and 2600. I mean, as silly as it may sound my own experiences crafting and selling buff packs have taught me thatit does even exist between 900 buffs (the power, not final strength) and 890-899 buffs, even though the 900 still doesn't brake the 2500 mark.
But between a 2599 buffand a 2604 one? With Docs actually charging more for that and people willing to pay? Just plain weird.
Glad to seeit works for you though. ![]()
