Nope with the mods on droids are all or nothing.. They work at full power till they run out

It seems to be that the answer is Yes.

Really? Ack! Thats the first I have heard of this. Pretty nasty stuff, as there is no way around this that I can think of, short of going to a med center and stowing the droid.

Bleah!

There is a way around it. Use a battery on the droid.

Storing the droid is not a workaround because droids no longer recharge when stored away.

i think jorzum was saying healing in the med center would be stable and unchanging since it wasnt prone to power problems.. not that stowing the droid had anything to do other than to remove the droid from the equation... right Jorzum ?

well thats half right ... no offense to theabove poster... but the batterys will run out causing the med unit to stop working ... the 10% bonus from a 110 unit only works when the droid has power so yes if the power runs out your buffs wont be as good .. but on the same note as the above poster said 100% 50% 25% power makes no difference as long as its powered and not giveing the *low Power* statment apon command... i would give it a follow command before each buff to check the battery levels and recharge acordingly

Does the amount of power a droid has left in it affect the buffs?

Like, if I recharge a droid, go buff 5 people, keep the droid out for 20 minutes, will I get worse buffs after the 20 minutes than if the droid was fully charged when I recharged it 20 minutes ago?

No responses. Strictly practical testing. I've done this before and this has happened to me on more than one occasion where I can now buff with a low power droid, but the buffs come in low.

Yes Lumache, thats what I meant.

What follows is then the question of how many buffs should I do before I put in another battery? Five, ten? Or how often to feed it a battery, because I have just been recharging it once it stopped operating.

Either way, its a shame that I should need to feed it another battery before the first one is even used up. I mean, the Star Wars universe seems to be a little more technically advanced than real life modern society. We actually have our devices tell us when the battery is too low to effectively perform the purpose of the machine it powers....

and what about when I get low buffs when the droid is fully charged?

Ok your a little unclear on what you are saying so here it is plain as I can say it..

To follow your example, a droid with a MC of 110 will continue to work as a fully (so 110 percent) operational med droid up intill the moment in runs out of power.. Then the med mod will not work at all, not at a lower effectiness; it just wont work period. Its all or nothing.
