EDIT -- I wrote this post like six months ago. SWGCreatures.com is so well organized now, the results are much more meaningful when searching. Since I just did a lot of searching there to make this list to stick on my wall, I thought I'd share:

Lok - flit, perlek, pharple
Naboo - kaadu, nuna, peko peko, flewt?
Rori - rasp, vir vur
Talus - fynock, gulginaw, rasp

Yavin IV - choku, whisper bird

Herbivore Meat List (by planet):
Corellia - bageraset, durni, murra, krahbu, paralope, vynock
Dantooine - bol, picket, thune
Dathomir - kwi, malkloc, verne
Endor - lantern bird, jax, bolle bol, bordok, squall
Lok - snorbal, gurk, mynock, gurnaset
Naboo - bolle bol, gualama, falumpaset, gnort, chuba

And vice versa, one of the ground based creatures on Yavin drops avian meat as well. I just cannot think of the name right now

They look like dogs, but drop avian meat (bug?).

actually Mantigrues from endor drops carnivore meat or wild meat i don't remember. they don't drop avian meat tho.

CAn we also include the quality of this meat, i know Nabooian is good, Dath is above average and Lok avian meat sucks..

The quality of the meat is wholy dependant on the server in which it is located and the time of the year at which you collect it.

It depends on the shift, I've had really good Lokian avian meat. (At least on Chilastra Lokian meat has been generally high quality I think).

If I recall correctly Flits are decent for avian meat. I used to take missions for them I think. Been a long while since I've been there though.

Yep, shifts every week or so, on each server. So when you find that 900+ OQ/900+ PE avian meat, like the stuff that was on Bria last shift, you hunt those birds to extinction! Or pay someone else a whole lotta money to hunt em for ya =)
