Thread: Buffs / Publish 19
Can anybody tell me if the buffs are better with publish 19?
I mean... are they still 10%?
I dont want to see everyone needing buffs to play like pre-CU. So 10% is plenty. At first i did think timers should be increased, but then it would encourage more people to be buffed constantly.
Im not sure what can be done about this. Other than giving docs another area of expertise. Stop thinking buff bots. Taking crafting away was not good. Somehow making more use of med centers would be great. Even giving docs the ability to setup portable medical camps.
And those who don't want them won't need them.

imo all buffs should be 1hr min, cause i myself have a slow load, if i get buffed in theed then takes 5min to get to space term then 5-10min to load then get a mission then get to the mission, 1/2 my buffs are either gone or near gone

Go away. While you're leaving consider this:
1. NPC should sell uber armor so that if you can't find a player Armorsmith you don't have wait or go looking for one.
2. Jedi Masters should be a faction pet so that if a group doesn't have a tank, someone can just whip one out and grind through a load of ancient krayts.
3. They should add another bio arm to the game that does awesome slices just to allow those that CANT find a smugler to be able to fight with enhanced weapons without putting forth a reasonable amount of effort to track one down, join a guild, make a contact list etc.
45 minutes is plenty of time.

Ohh, and the speed buff should not be longer....for the same reasons.
I think the speed buff needs a wee bit more time. The rest of the buffs are fine(Duration-wise) IMO.
BTW-I have always played a ranged non-healer, but I just mastered Pikeman/Doctor/0-4-0-0 TKA and I lub it. It is the ultimate tank in PVE.
