how do you get 50 in a crate? I can only get 49, because I have to use a component from the crate to make a schematic.

Make 100 of each subcomponent per run.. then you can make 99 stims. One crate with 50 and one crate with 49.

Factories pulling from crates is very buggy. For best results, always use two full crates for each subcomponent.

Don't you also need to pull some components out of each crate and put those in the hopper too? Three from one and four from the other?

Depends on your luck...I need to pull out every little stinking thing to make stims

I do, however, always have to put in an extra crate of each type.

stim b's dont require identical factory componets likethe higher ones do.so to get a full 50 i just make one more set of components by hand and put them in the factory

I just got my factory yesterday. Can you put crates in the input hopper, or do you have to load individually?

Yes, all of the components have to have the same serial number as the components the schematic was made from, I don't know what that person was making by hand, but they won't work in a factory.

A few other things I've noted:

You can easily make 2 crates of 50 by typing in the number (ie it comes up 100, you add a 2 between the zeros [1020] and delete the last zero [102]). You can do thisup to 1000. I always make 102 to give me a margin for 1 critical failure or to get the best of 2 results.

If you put the ingredients in the input hopper in the same order listed on the schematic they will make perfect runs one of every 3 times.

Heres another trick you can do, I have always had trouble making odd amounts of things. So when you make your schematic, make it for 1000 but only put enough resources in the hopper to equal 102. I make larger runs of things, soo I use like 210 just for a buffer.
