A lot of onlookers but one reply thank you CaptainStormy.Maybe I'm thinking to much but once Jedi becomes Epic* this game will take a hard twist, I play enough to see the reaction in players in thier Avatar building so from lack of replies its safe to say most of you don't know! That leaves a blind spot on the mind-I am not looking for EQ in this game but if Publish 10 destroys20% of grinding how will you keep your interest? Fifty percent of venders are empty or selling crappy meds for ungodly amount of money this tells me that merchant isn't dedicated to thier profession-so grind another.

After publish 9.1 I will upset many people but I'm going to make a pointto enhance the actionof all Tumbers found in Medics and I'm asking other role-players to do the same. I am not attemping to fake being an artisan, Rifleamn or any other profession I' m 100% support and I want to fight for two or three hours in this so called war. This is crazy, Doctors hanging around space ports selling buffs and not supporting there troops in battle but actually buffing the enemy. Merchants selling buffs but will not get into charecter (Doc) during PVP and protect thier group against CM's, maybe this is why CM forum is full of nerf hate. Please understand we have created our own circle of hell as members leave the dev. out ofthis one. naaa you can't point your finger this time. I said it before and I say it again some of you guild leaders need to be shot in the eye and de-brained. Today on two severs I seen about 6 doctors in hour or two buff nobody but the enemy! what is this GAME?! Tell me how are you going to blame this on thedev. To become a Doctor should be just as hard as becoming a Jedi. Now, these well buffed troopers/combat medics will destroy everything in their path because they know the enemies Doc is sitting in Starport buffing them for profit. while their guild catch hell trying to stop CM but some of you holla nerf CM. NO! Kill your guild leaders and the mayorfor not kicking the doctors out for buffing the enemy. I have never ever ever ever sold a buff for profit and I don't belong to any guilds I take donation but I don't requset credits. In fact I tell everyone my buffs are free the funny thing is they still ask me how much is buffs, I say free and they say, "but how much you charge"-errr ok you can donate something then they say, "cool" Don't any of you players think this is a formof treason?

A rebel stood in starport begging me to buff him, he threw pillows at me stomped around and even got on his knees. Get this, there was aRebel Doctor Buffing Imperial for 10K each 3m fromthis poor Rebbut they would n't buff there own faction for free because he was broke. What is this game! I'm Imperial Idon'tgive a flying monkey about this Rebel best thing he could have done was die I had to tell him my buffs are weak only .5K then he said, "O' f that." We have a problem and it need to befixed and only we can fix it. Thank you.

Well this won't win me any love but I must put it down-Medic grinding. Do anyone agree that medic grinding hurts the overall game? Do anyone think skill grinding is no different then EQ levling? What is the individual mindset afterthey havegrinded thier profession?-So does this mean all grinding is a matter of becoming a Jedi? What will you do after publish 10 (GCW) is complete- far as your charecter devoloment? How many of you think your going to beat publish 9 (holo)? Most of you won't, even I know that! Once publish 10 is complete how many of you that havn't will participate in PVP? The big question: After publish10 how many of you Doctors will start role-playing your prof.?

For me I'm Roleplayer in heart so Master Doctor is all I desire and being a combat medic so you can figure the rest out. Thank you

IM a doctor, I roleplay the proffesion. and not all grinding has anything to do with holo's. Ive never used a holo, but I Change my combat proffesion from time to time. I was a master carbiner from august untill last month, master TKA untill friday, and now im working on rifleman. Grinding wont leave the game once holos are gone, just tone it down a bit.

What i am hoping for thou, is for all the L337 D33wdz to leave the game after holos are gone. that would make my so happy. lol, but i can dream i suppose.

I deleted all the incomprehensible rambling about Doctors and Factions. I'd like to focus on the above statement. I sure am glad you aren't running things. I mean, really, drop Doctor and go master every other profession before you are allowed to be a Doctor again. You deserve it.

Myself? I used tumblers to gain MD ASAP . . . to help my guild.

Yes, I buff for profit, and I will buff rebels and Neutrals ( I am an Imperial), BUT only if I know that they are not at war with my guild, or in cahoots with a guild who is at war with mine.

Our base is on Lok, so the ONLY place I buff at is Theed. When my guild is in need, I respond. I chose Theed because of the lack of waiting 10 minutes for a transport . I will gladly do my role as a Docotr whenever need be.

I am not a holo-grinder. I never liked the idea. I knew what I wanted to do, and did it, and stuck with it. I might change from Rifleman to TKM sooner or later . . . or I might not. Depends on how I feel. But I will always keep Doctor, because I like it.

What he said.

When i have my Master Doctor tag on, I'm earning money. When I've got my Teras Kasi Tag on, i'm prepared for battle. I have killed imperials that i just buffed about an hour ago.

Just because you're a master doc already dosen't mean you have to make it more difficult then it already is for someone else to become one. If you don't believe in tumbling then that's your opinion. But other people have different opinions and they play to have fun their own way. I ignore all roleplayers personally. I don't have time to roleplay when I actually get the chance to play a few hours a night. Hence I don't have hours to spend leveling up my skills as it is, and if you go and buff the action bars of all the afk tumblers then you're enforcing your way of playing on other players.

That is just egotistical and has nothing to do with protecting the "roleplaying" of the game. To actuallydo something to protect the roleplaying and imerssion in the game, then you'd have to change all the non-starwarsy names, introduce spaceships already, and many other things. When you start paying the montly subscription fees of everyone who doesn't play your way, then you can tell everyone else how they should play theircharacters.

If by "roleplaying" my profession you mean that if I'm a REB doctor, which I am working toward on Corbantis, I don't heal/buff IMP players, then you can count me out of "roleplaying". I play the game the way I see fit. Don't get me wrong, when I'm in combat I don't heal IMPs, but if I'm not in combat then I will help anybody who wants my help. Just as you pay your 15 dollars a month, I do to. And I don't think anybody should be dictating how everyone else should be playing their character.

If you don't agree with me healing/buffing the opposite faction when I myself am not engaged in a battle situation, then I think you should start paying for both of my accounts. If you agree to do this then I'll gladly play the way the "roleplayers" think the game should be roleplayed.

yes, you shouldnt try to force your play style on other people. so what you dont like AFK tumblers in the med center, neither do I, but i dont go buffing them. Im not here to tell other people how to play, im here to play how i want to play. Hell if i had my way, you could have only randomly generated names and not typed any in so we dont get all these peoples stupid names we see running around.

Am i an Imperial Doctor? Yes i am. Will i buff a Rebel if they ask? Sure will. Will I buff an imperial for free just because they are broke and think they need buffs. No i wont. If that rebel is going to get buffed and PVP, they will get buffed either way, rather they get buffed by me or that rebel doctor next to me. I may as well make some money off of it.

As far as people not "Helping their factions in a fight" not everyone likes to pvp. I hate pvp in this game, its done very poorly and is a rich mans sport. If i wanted to pvp i would play UT2004.

And Merchants selling sub par products for to much, that has nothign to do with roleplaying their proffesion. hell, just like IRL you can go to one dealership and Pay 5K more for the exact same car as you would somewhere else.

I sell meds. They arnt sub par at all, same level of quality as every other doc shop on my server. They are more expencive however then other doc shops. Why? because the other docs prices are so low as soon as they stock their vendors are sold out and that doc then has to restock again. I dont wanna restock every day like other docs. My store is doing quite well and I have NEVER receved any complaints about it at all. I dont see any problem like that, hell when people ask me i tell the the other stores where if they are stocked the prices will be cheaper at.

Roleplaying to everyone means diffrent things. To me it means keeping all spatial talking to IC stuff and /emoteing things that my char is doing and making my character have some sort of life. To you it means pvping and buffing tumblers it seems /shrug

Even the creaters of this game in so many words said this isn't the direction they expected and you don't have to be a Role-player, I have had much fun in battle with non-roleplayers but these charecters play strategy and some weren't in guids but I think my point is being missed and again What is this game?! What have we turned it into? None-faction person can buff whoever they want for how much they wan't they're to do whatever they wan'tbut when you choose faction doesn't that change the scope for the Role of a faction Doctor should there be some content of fantasy reality to the storyline?

Listen up, When I became a Doctor I would hang aroundin Coronet storeport to protect overt Imperials moving threw they didn't know me or cared to know me but they was so happy when I saved them from a DB or disease because 2 or 3 Rebels was taging them and I took that Flag and got DB'ed then took the item lost in clone and Inever complain. I was in Krayt country and hooked up with a guild they was very happy I joined and inmy rambling self I asked, "you guys have aDocs in your guild they said, "yep four-there buffing in starport"I have never known the majority of Doctors to particapate with there guilds marjority of the time. Again I direct you to CM forum and count the nerf they posts.

I do see in all your replies the same thing which isn't the complete theme of my post, 'Role-player'. Why is that such a bad bad word? If I left it out Role-play would have this thread replies been different.

Some people play this game because they want to participate in the Star Wars galaxy. It's not about winning a GCW, or demonstrating who has the best PvP tactics.

Even for those who have decided to support one side or the other, theydon't necessarily have to feel passionate about it. "If I got to choose, I'd like to see the Rebels win...But I'm not willing to die for it." That seems like a perfectly reasonablerole-playing attitude towards the GCW. "And even though my neighbor prefers the Imps, I'm still going to serve him," seems reasonable too. The "cause" isn't that important to me, and I don't view everyone I encounter through the prism of "what side are they on".
