Because I like annoying the people that think I'm a buff bot and I like being a doc! I'm not gonna take down my tag cause someone thinks I should.
You should use your afk auto message to hadle the bombardment next time. Quick way to solve that.
If you put up a master doctor title people are going to ask you for buffs, especially if you have a droid out. Would anyone dispute this? You can argue whether it’s right or wrong all day but at the end of the day that’s the way it is. I assume that you knew this yet put up the title anyway. What did you expect would happen, what were you trying to accomplish?

It's not a matter of accomplishing anything. It's a matter of principle. The guy said that he should take his tag down since he's not buffing. That's absolutely rediculous! He should be able to wear his tag proudly for making Master. Scr#$%@w the guy who asked. That's too bad, he should just live with it.
I wear mine just because I made Master and I'm proud of it. I like being a Doctor. I take 'ownership' for the privileges it affords me. I heal people when needed, like the service profession that it is. I buff people when I feel like it, just like in RL. I wonder when's the last time that guy forced a RL Medical Clinic to remove the sign on the door just because they aren't taking any new patients.
Geez, give it a rest and let the Master Doc enjoy being one.
I'm really not flaming, but the last thing to do here is make the originator of the thread feel guilty for wearing his Master tags.

VERY well put, 5 stared it and agree 100%. Why master a prof if you arent allowed to wear the title because other people yell at you for not offering services.

I've been a master doc for a very long time .. got it the old fashioned way of healing in the med center ... which I still find fun on occasion
And yes, I did expect some tells asking me if I was buffing. What I didnt expect is to be told by someone to take the tag off because I was not buffing. And I had no droid out. I guess people searched for Master Doctor in the search box using the ctrl p function.
I have every right in the world to wear my Master Doctor title. I'm proud of it .. I just got annoyed to death when some guy told me I had no right to be wearing it since I was not buffing. Would this not irk you? ^^

So according to your theory every master is required to do what they do for everyone else. I find a master weaponsmith he is required to make me a weapon if he is wearing his title. Same goes for all other classes right?
