Thread: Why heal pets when you can heal Radiation Victims?

On TC right now it takes around 2-4 samples of Radioactive to totally black out a person's HAM, so...

1. Find a good site for radioactive near a popular town.
2. Find a Scout that wants survival XP.
3. Get 3-4 Surveyors.
4. Add a band of Entertainers.
5. Throw in a gaggle of Medic types.
6. Set up shop selling Wound B-D kits.

Presto! Magical XP factory.

SoE has provided 4 different professions with a means to quickly and harmlessly gain XP with this next update. Will this be nerfed to oblivion? Probably.

Oh I got a good laugh out of this one!!!!!

It's a GREAT idea!!! Since Combat Medics need the radioactives ... everyone's happy.

Tee hee hee .....

[wonders away figuring out how she can get her PA members to go along with this]

An "exploit" which takes 4 different classes working together, exchanges resources and credits, and has the classes doing what they're supposed to be doing isn't an "exploit" it's good gameplay heh. You should get yourself in a guild Merrin, you got some nice group ideas...

Yeah, it's a good idea. Sounds more like a mining company than an exploit.

Bindy,

Let me see if I get this all right ... (been a long day at work)

  1. Scout sets up a camp where medics can heal wounds and entertainers can heal mind

  2. Surveyors sample radioactives and get wounds and use action

  3. Medics heal the wounds and action as fast as possible using their mind (and stims)

  4. Entertainers play/dance and heal the medic's mind

  5. Everyone gets xp, and there are radioactives to share around

Perfectly brilliant plan!

Maybe not really an"exploit" but, it involves no risk, no moving around, and no limit to the XP. It's more like cooperative grinding. Unless you get some really high level docs and entertainers though, it'll be tough to keep up with the wounds.

Very nice idea..

seems the devs are taking one step forward and 3 steps back.. i see these exp farms going up if the change goes in.

hence why i keep saying SOE is missing the point of nerfing pet xp...

they think that pets were the only xp farm in the game?

what SOE realized was med xp is easy to get...they didnt realize the # of ways it can be easily farmed...

what they should have done if med xp was "easy" to get was raise med xp requirements...

but thats asking SOE to look at the overall picture and thats obvious beyond the ability of the devs...

i would say nerf pet xp if it was the only "exploit" for xp but there are still a ton of them...

again i definately think that the pet nerf cam only because some dev decided to play a medic to heal his dev buddy's CH pets..realized...wow this is fast xp...too easy...

missing most the other ways for easy xp...again if they tested this out before going live, they would realize this will in fact not even slow down medical xp...

If you take a look at the TC updates for today, they had a bullet in there saying they are lessening the downsides for sampling/harvesting/whatever radioactive material. I guess they do read these forums, it is just that they are too chicken to post to them because they don't like being showed up.

Naw. that's not from these forums. Use Dev Tracker and you'll see that it was pointed out over on the TC forums the very first day this went in that the wound levels were way too high when hand sampling radioactives. Vass agreed righ then and there and said they would be pulling it back. That was probably 2 days before this tread even started.

So, no. This is proof of nothing. We are still being ignored.

It's infinitely easier to just /duel someone, shoot their H & A bars all the way down, /endduel and heal them all the way back up.
