I got my resources with 900s OQ, pretty damn high PE like around 600s-800s, and pretty good decay resistance. I have access to a full bar of experimenting points(the very bottom bar on buff D's, forget what the name is called). When I'm experimenting im getting either moderate success or failure. Should I only experiment with 2 points at a time or something? Any help?

List your resources for your subcomponents.

Craft at a city with a research facility

Use pyollian cake and Bespin port, chef foods that help in crafting.

I experiment 2 points at a time, but that is me.

The avian or organic you mentioned seems really good, i'm guessing it's your subcomponents.

I'd venture to guess that you're trying to experiment with too many points at one time. I don't go over two points at a time when experimenting packs (and only go over that on other stuff like subcomponent schematics if I'm feeling lazy). You should aim to get all great or amazing successes when you experiment, because good, moderate, and failure on the effectiveness will usually increase either power or duration and decrease the other. Great/amazing would increase both (until they max out).

I dont think i was in a research station and I dont use a crafting station. I use a droid with the 110 med rating. Should I use a crafting station instead? Btw, thx for the great tips so far. I kinda been away for 4 months so I was shocked at all the changes that happened =).

Sry it didnt accept my text for that one. I am a master doc also, the rest of my resources are just like the ones above, I use advance components although they do date like 4 months ago before the changes, my tools are 5 i think. SHould I get better tools? I'll respond in little bit with specifics.

Yeah be more precise with your resources.

For the experimentation problems though, I used to have the same ones when I started crafting, it used to take me sometimes 10 attempts to get one schematic without any failures. I would suggest some crafting food or/and to go to a research center to make your experimentations. The difference is amazing.

Also, you should experiment 2 or 3 points at a time for a better result.

I personally am a firm believer in experimenting one point at a time. Sure it takes longer, but the less experimentation points you use at once, the less chance you have of failing. You should probably be more specific on your resources for a better answer. It could be that you're using crappy sub-component resources. You should check this website out:

It might help answer your questions more in depth.

Can't really answer your question unless you give more details; in particular, what you're using in sub-components.

Are you using Advanced compenents?

Is the OQ and PE in those components also in the 900's? 800's?

Are you using Reactive Gas with high OQ and PE (Gas is just as important as meat)

Are you a Master Doc?

What is the quality of your personal crafting station? +15? +30? -5?

What is the quality of your crafting tool? +1? +10? +15 (max)?

Are you in a city that has a research center specialty?

It sounds lke your problem isn't the resources. Get a great station, a great tool, and do the experimentation in a research center. Everything but the great and amazing successes will tend to go away (you'll get a few sub-optimal results, but overall it is much better).

1. Crafting tool should be 14%+

2. Crafting Station should be 40%+

3. Even if you are a 12 point Master Doc, cram all the experimentation tapes into your clothes that you can. It won't give you more experimentation points, but it WILL improve your chances for great/amazing successes.

4. Eat the foods and drink the drinks that give you experimentation bonuses.

5. Experiment one point at a time.

6. Max out your Medicine Assembly with BE Clothes.

7. Craft at a station, not at your droid, when making schematics. Droids can't compare to Stations when it comes to Assembly/Experimentation bonuses.

8. Craft your schematics in a city that has been designated as a Research Center.

That's all I can think of

I have been making buffs for about 6 months and for some reason I'm stuck making buffs that will not break 800ish range and my resources today are far better than when I started the Doc Pro and was making 880 buffs. I think up to this point I have never made a buff that dropped below 820 and I was using some pathetic Avian in those.

Maybe they made a change to the system but I did not read this anywhere.

I'm using the following resources / controllers:

Avian 982 / 375 / 636 OQ/PE/DR

Reactive 999/780 OQ/DR

Adv. Solid Power 69

Adv Bio Power 12 / Charges 21

Adv. Chem Power 56

770 buff packs are the best I can create..

I normally have 9 box to experiment for str but with these mats I have 8...

Any idea's why my buffs are totally sucking though I'm using some high quality resources? I used some 720/690 OQ/PE Avian and pulled a 820 buff? What gives?

Anyone else making buffs after patch having these problems?

Thanks!!!
