Thread: crafting macro? 0 2 2 1 doctor looking for a little help...
not sure what everyone else is doing, but what i'm using at the moment is:
hotkeyed food/chem tools, plus:
/nextcraftingstage; /nextcraftingstage; /nextcraftingstage; /createprototype; /createprototype
if there's a better way, please let me know
i'd greatly appreciate it. as things are, i'm getting pretty fast crafting xps...but i am getting the impression that there are others out there getting it much faster.
thanks, everyone...
You can use this macro while you are running from point A to point B, during some downtime and even crafting stations or droids will not affect this macro as it skips the experimentation and practice screens.

I have tried these types of macros and for some reason the /nextCraftingStage command is not working. I have tried the various capitalizations and the /nextc and /next and all cause the same problem. After more investigation, I see that it is actually bugging me somehow.
If I go through step by step, put the items in the slots, then hit "assemble" manually, it asks me if I am sure, etc, as normal. If I hit "no", go back and try to type /nextCraftingStage, nothing happens. THEN, when I try to hit "assemble" (just for the hell of it, to see if it works) I get an ERROR message saying that the resources are not configured and the requirements havent been fulfilled. If I try to remove the resources, it starts to remove them and says "cannot add ingredients: not in crafting assembly stage" (note: I am REMOVING them, not adding them!)
I have seen other people having this problem but I have yet to see a solution...
This macro works just fine for me. Thank you SO much for posting it!
I did make a few modifications:
- I added a /pause before opening the next crafting tool to ensure the previous crafting session had ended.
- I changed all /pauses to /pause 4.
- I use only 4 crafting tools, and so reference only those four tools in the macro.
With the timing provided above, the first tool is just finishing it's crafting just as I finish loading the last tool. Using this macro and only 4 tools I can keep them continuously busy cranking out my xp.
Thanks again!

Yeah this isn't working for me either. I noticed a few things ...
1. The schematic number will change based on whether you're in front of a crafting station or not. At first I was trying in front of my station. Moved away, found the right number, tried again and it still didn't work.
2. Basically what happens for me is that I get two Crafting Has Ended messages and when I check my on screen experience monitor, it's always the same as it was before after running a macro.
3. The original post had 3 nextCraftingStage commands, the detailed macro only had two. Gonna try three next.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
/next = /nextCraftingStage;
/createp = /createPrototype
