I was wondering if I had a 110 Med droid that had a crafting station inside it do I need a F&C crafting station? WHat's the difference?

Is it better? Will a driod with a higher quality station make better meds then a personal station?

You know what? I used my droid for crafting yesterday for the first time, and I have to admit it was better. I have a +37 in my house and I have a lot more failures or regular successes with it then he droid. With the froid... Amazings and, well, whatever the other good one is (sorry, at work and I forgot.) Another question is this; Is the droid "factory" otions as good and fast as my F&C factory? I notices that I could put a schematic in the droid, but I havend tried it yet. Maybe I'm just insane and I cant use it like that lol. Back to work...

This is on the general list of things to look at.

Droids DO always seem to work better. We don't know why. They may not have a rating at all, and it may go aroudn the system entirely, or they may rate as a perfect craft staion by default.

Well if its a 100% accident by default you can be quiet I dont appreciate paying 50k+ for the dogs nads of a P. C. S. when i can get a droid which beeps at me as well for the same price or less!

Artisan types bat this one around all the time. From what I 've been able to tell, the products themselves don't turn out better on their own but the chances for crit failures and experimental failures go down with a better crafting station/tool.

So far the best possible crafting tool is +15.00. The best possible station is a theoretical +45.00. On droids it's a little dicey: the best possible droid stations are around +10-15 on their own. If clustered into a General Droid Module Socket Cluster" with 2 other well made modules, the rating can go as high as +30.00. Unfortunately there is know way to see what the droid has since it's not listed in the droid's stats. The droid consumer kinda has to take our word for it that the droid is equipped as advertised.

Batteries are an annoying issue. About every 20-30 minutes of continued operation, you have to shove a charge into your droid's ass. A crate or two of 4 charge batteries will probly last a good while. If you set you droid down to craft for a while, you can neglect charging as the crafting station will continue to work. You will have to recharge afterwards if you want to heal or give a movement command, Medical functionality does go away when the droid has low power.

Currently It seems the results of crafting are better with the droids and not the P.C.S.

I've got the same question. Is there any point to me getting a 40+ personal crafting station when I can just hang out near my droid?

As a master Droid Engineer I may be able to shed some light on the subject.

The Crafting levels for crafting stations work as this

worst: Public Crafting stations

then: Private Crafting Stations

best: Droid Crafting Stations

Even with the 40% private stations, a master can get a crafting station to 60 - 80ish%. The Surgical droid I made for a medic friend of mine gets consectitvly better results with his droid then with the guild crafting stations(40%).

Just thought you all might want to know.

sure and a master doc max buff is 10, please don't go and tell stupid things just so you would be able to post something.

Masters can easely get their stations to 95% higher is more difficult as you have to be very lucky or being in a manufacturing district to get it higher, off course the basic material has to be more then 950 conductivity as well. the best crafting stations i make are 98% best i've seen are 99% so still better then droids, although i'm not sure what a DE can get out of a driod. a previous post mentioned it so i figuered less then crafting station

Yes, you can make everything on the droids. They count as private crafting stations.
