Hi All,

One of my guildmates is telling me Lok Wheat will be a contraband item, with the new patch for the GCW. I'm not sure what this exactly means.

He implied that the scanner NPC will be looking at Rebs, Imps & Neutrals and that if the wheat is on your person you lose it ??!! He also mentioned spice and sliced items.

Anyone know what he is talking about. I scanned the Test center forum and did find one link that mentioned Lok wheat as an item that will have to be smuggled. But no details really. I carry a lot of wheat as I craft while waiting for shuttles etc. Should I start drinkin now?

My brain is fried in this Tatooine sun, anyone have an insight ?

Yes, lok wheat will be illigal to imperials. Just dont carry any on you if you plan on visiting any imperial cities.

Why is it illigal? Well, Lok is a pirate city, so any export coming out from there is a pirate export, illigal.

I grant you already understand why sliced items and spice will be illigal too?...

I think its good. Some reality in the game.

Of course, you can always to IMP if you want to wander without fear.

Imps are not immune... There's a lot of complaints going on in development about Imperials and neutrals (yes neutrals) actually getting the shorter end of the stick. Rebels under the system get a TEF while Imperials/Neutrals get it deleted from their pack upon detection... fun fun...

Ok I had a chance to read a few more posts

Seems this is all over the board, I'm not opposed to the idea, I just want to know the rules..before I lose a couple thousand resources and get kicked out of the Empire.

I'll start drinkin now.

"The penalty for being found for having contraband as an Imperial is 500 FP automatically lost, or an Entire rank Lost if you lack that FP (which means a demtion from COL just costed that Imperial player 6000 FP). Conversely the Rebel Penalty is a simply TEF, which at worst is they die with zero decay."

TH has posted, and other people have quoted, that NO ITEMS WILL BE DELETED FROM PLAYERS. Just FYI. I know it's supposed to be on TC atm, but it is not staying that way according to TH. I am guessing he would know.

TH also posted that food resxources are NOT on the contraband list. It appears something else may have happened to that person on TC who lost the wheat.

I was wondering if I put my Lokian Wheat in my droid storage module and then store the droid will they find it? There is a way around the scanners and that's to fly into a Rebel city on the planet and walk, rideor drive to your home.

Travin: It won't matter for wheat. It won't be contraband.

I think I'll do it anyway just to make me feel like I'm getting away with something.

I think some of the testers on TC have mentioned spice as a contraband item. You could always try it with that. You know you have a crate of Muon Gold sitting in your inventory, don't try to hide it!

What are you talking about a crate in my inventory. I have 3 crates in my inventory. I head to the Tusken Fort with 4 in my toolbar. I wonder if they're going to stick to the Star Wars stand on spice. It wasn't illegal to have spice as long as you paid the high tariffs which made smuggling it very profitable. OK, I'll put away my offical SW geek card now.

Do they ever take in to account if the changes will make the game any better, or more fun before they change it? I don't see how this will make the game any better, but will defenetly make it more annoying. We all have to use unsliced weapons now? **edit** is that
