been stuck on this tier for over a 2 weeks now (I know I cant stay focused, crafting takes money, money takes missions, missions take help, help is not always there...) Anyways is there one certain item you guys crafted that got you through this tier? I thought stim d's would be my big xp maker but after hand crafting a ton of them I actually did the math and found I was getting 71 per D crafted, wich with 8k to go means a hell of a case of carpal tunnel! Advice please I hate sitting around my house, sucks to do that at home AND in game at the same time!

dont craft anything using factory crates, since you only get 5% xp from factory made items. make C series or just make subs by hand.

if you grind only subs you get 35xp per sub hand crafted

i made C wound kits, making 221xp for the final+subs hand crafted.

only way to do it is craft everything by and experiment on each item.

Thanks for info, I didnt know the lil comps were worth that much xp. BTW I've done some testing and experimenting adds 0 xp to the end total. Just FYI to maybe save you some time in return

Yeah do NOT experiment. Run 4 crafting tools and crank components with Practice using trash resources.

Setup macros that 1) open a crafting tool, then 2) loads the schematic of choice automatically. I use three crafting tools, so I've got a macro that opens a tool then loads the BEC schematic. I cut out one or two clicks and a couple of screen changes. It really increased how fast I can grind the BECs out.

This is what I did. Go to somewhere not extremely busy but you are still needed...i.e. Wayfar. You can sit in there and gain crafting xp (I did BEC's until my eyes bled) using 3 crafting tools at 10 seconds apiece. Move your boxes so that all your clickables are stacked so you do not have to move mouse at all but only for selecting another crafting tool. DO NOT break out a Crafting Station to do this. This is important as all you have to do is hit the enter button to blow through screens and avoid the screen with EXPERIMENT on it. It won't show up if you don't have a station nearby.

You will still be able to gain healing xp with all the balck HAMS that show up around Wayfar. Crafting was the last tree I finished so do it whenever and whereever you can...i.e waiting on shuttle, waiting on patients, chatting, autorun.

Do you guys know of any lists that show how much xp youll get for wich item? Theres alot of opportunity for someone with free time and excel to help out alot hehe. Could use a list of xp per item and a breakdown of wich specific items doctors should look for for advanced components

Just grind advanced BECs - they're 80 xp (84 with practice). You can pump them out in 10 seconds if you're set up well. Any block on the doctor crafting line should be done in an hour or less doing this.

its pointless to make anything higher than C series meds. anything requiring factory components you end up losing xp since you only get 3.5 xp per factory crafted item if your near a factory compared to making the same sub (BEC/SDM/CRDM/LS) by hand which is 35 xp. so to grind the craft xp you either make B wound kits to sell on the bazaar which you get 35+35+35+56=161xp for the final or make C wound kits for yourself 35+35+35+66=221xp for the final. if you make the higher meds you only get 3.5xp per factory sub instead of 35xp per sub on the lower series.

also kinda pointless IMO to waste good hard to find resourceson adv subs, when crappy normal resources can be used to grind out the craft xp.

I used Adv BECs to grind the mastre box out. It only took me about 3 hours useing 4 tools. Adv BECs are the way to go. Only bad thing is now they fixed the bug that ignored the stats on componets for crates that use more than one. lol I used it all to grind. Now I have to go get more. NP really, it was well worth it to me in time.

Hi, care to write down what your macro looks like?
