Ok, my bad...I left my Master Doc title up. Regardless....
3 of my guildmates and I have fought our way down to the Acklay room and are waiting for it to spawn.
Here's the conversation
Patient: "Can you rez me and rebuff?"
Doc: "I'm at the bottom of the Geo Cave in the Acklay room, I'm a little busy"
Patient: "I'm at the entrance, can you come up and rez me?"

Dude! Don't hide,Let that *ish fly. I keep mine up constantly. I have found that silence is an acceptable answer. Especially when you start getting mobbed by /tells. Just sucks all those annoying people that want buffs mess up your /r

LOL. I generally keep it up unless I really want to be left alone. Part of being a good Doc is helping other players. Heck I left my group for a bit last night to run after a solo guy in trouble. He was badly surrounded with a hard poison tick hitting him. I pulled out the rifle, finished off the guys around him, cured his states/poison, then hit him with a stim E. He cheered, I shot of a salute and rejoined my friends. Good fun and part of being a Doc. Soloing my way back up the cave to rez and buff a guy I don't know only to get a "Thanks" and then have to solo my way back down is another matter entirely. I should have said "Sure, bank tip me 250K and I'll be up in 5 minutes. Hope you can handle the train of Kiwis, Droidekas, and Geonosians I'm bringing with me..."

rofl.... that would have been a good response. I agree that doc's should help people, and I actually like doing it. Some people, however, are just beyond any help

Yeah, the life of a Doc is probably one of the most fun in the game. Nothing beats running around tatooine dropping buffs on n00bs as they run for dear life from a kreetle.
I acually preffer the 'First Responder' title, as it describes my playing style to a T... usually first in, last out.

yup, a good doc always dies last. If you die first, could be your fault, but that's like blaming the quarter back for getting sacked. Sure he could have ran the other way, but what was linebaker doing in the backfield in the first place, huh?

We're definitely in agreement there. My first priority is keeping myself alive. I can't help anyone if I'm at the clone center.
We had a good group last night. It wasa lot of fun. Master Doc/Rifleman, Master pistoleer/Master Smuggler/Master TK, Carbineer/Squad Leader, and a Master Swordsman. Unfortunately all of the good rooms were camped, but we still had a good time.

Had one last night that made me chuckle as well...
"You come to the med center in Coronet and teach me Advanced Wound Treatement"
er... definately not... I have maxed AP
I was only at the Starport, but it astounds me people are so dis-illusioned
that EVERYONE needs AP and will drop everything they are doing to go help, especially
to train one too lazy to get off their rear and lose that precious spot healing tumblers.
Then as I go into the med center later to pay for my own training.... I get innundated with
a different idiot spamming 2-3 lines a second asking for training
I have no problem if they ask nicely... but rude people get no love from me, they get ignored.

I like keeping my title up because then you dont have to advertise to get a line of people waiting for buffs, and often times, you can err on the side of lower quality buff packs because the average person does not ask for stats.

I've had this exact same request when the caves first opened.
My response was.
"I'm down in the caves past a bunch of kwi and geos and can't come out."
I get. "kk"
About five minutes later I get a tell from the same person.
"Can you rez me? I'm at the third door."
Dude was trying to come to me.
I felt bad so I did the solo fight back. Rezzed the guy and returned to my group, but now I had my own wookie sidekick to keep alive. I rezzed, healed and dragged him all the way to the Acklay. He had a blast and I was his new best friend.

That's why you use /rt instead of /r, which sends a reply to the last person you sent a message toinstead ofthe last person who sent you a message.
