Thread: Haven't read all the posts about CU...but i feel sick from what i have read..

Hello my fellow Doctors. I have been busy IRL for the past 4 weeks or so and have just started reading some of the posts/changed regarding the CU and Docs. I have been a Master Doc since Sept. 03 and am quite happy with the state of the profession the way it currently is. In reading some of the changes, i feel a bit sick (no pun intended). It seems to me that they are taking one of the most fun (and important parts) of being a Doc away... crafting our meds... am wondering if anyone would be willing to give me a quick breakdown or at the least correct me if i am wrong about needing BE's to craft our meds?? I am not one of the 'CU nay-sayers' and am looking forward (somewhat) to how the CU will 'enhance' game play, but some of what i read just does not make sense as far as changing how Docs operate...

Testing has been the most fun I have had in a long time. It looks like everything will be great. (Or at least for the most part.)

how long have you been testing?

As long as everyone else, what? Friday? No testing as happened before that. There was no Alpha or Sandbox testing.

Some folks really like it, some folks really hate it. But don't go by posts alone, I'd suggest jumping onto TC5 and making up your own mind on the matter.

Thanks to both of you... i haven't really played in a month (going through serious withdrawl considering i usually play about 40 hours a week). didn't realize that TC5 just went live this past friday...what the heck am i going to do with 2 houses full of medical resources and subcomponenets????

The subcomponents will still be used post-CU with the BE crafting. The resources should hopefully still be viable, but that's not set in stone.

Supposidly all the the components will still be used, not sure what the 3-500k of avian I have stored up will be good for, they bent us over really good if you ask me.

Stim As and Bs take subcomponents you make in Medic. As and Bs are also made in medic. As are Combat level 1 and Bs are combat level 15. Each have a 60 second cooldown. Only power and Charges are exped on.


A takes Liquid Suspention and Becs (theyCAN NOT be advancedversions of them)


B takes 1 LS, 1CRDM,2 identical BECs (cannot be advancedversions)

My initial fear as a crafting doc was, in order to pick up the MED Crafting side of BE, I'd have to sacrifice my Master Rifleman. However since they're getting rid of the Scout requirements for BE, (and making Master Doctor need only two lines of Medic instead of Four), it looks like I can go Master Doc/Master Rifleman/0004 BE and keep the crafting line intact. As it stands it takes nearly all my SP to keep MR/MD so I'm not really losing much...

This makes me rather mad, especially after contacting CSR's about it. I got another acount so that I could craft, and like many others, I spent millions (54) my entire fortune that I took the entire last year to get, and now they are nerfing the proffesion making my clothing worthless, I am trying to sell it on our galaxy trade forum, and for less then 1M a point min bid, not one peice has an offer after two days, I am going to lose everything, and SOE is going to lose two more accounts in addition to the hundreds (maybe thousands) of other doctor crafters.
