Thread: Why am I having so much trouble getting my Enhance-D's over 600 power?
Don't feel alone.. Your getting the same results everyone is getting. I buff for 750-2400, far too random for my tastes. Like you, i only use components of 800+ for all peices. Speaking with people I buff, they say mine fall within the same range as everyone who has buffed them. Yet, every doctor I talk too says they buff for 2200-2400 average. I think someone has a complex! ![]()

yeah as far as i know use only the best avian meat!!! and find some high OQ reactive gas ( can be hard). you need as many experiment points as posible at least 8 or 9.
I got 2 types of avian meat now 900+ oq/pe/dr and 800+ oq/pe/dr using 970oq 110 drgas , I usually get 830+ power 10000 duration pretty consistantly my acdrm are only like 50 adv solid 60 power and i got some crates of 16 charges 17 power adv bio.
yesterday i tried doing action using mostl 890+ oq/pe/dr resources and i think i got around 840power /27 uses /13000 .i did it using a -14 tool and it worked like a charm ( i've been having trouble with tools recently)i was so happy it worked so well i gave it to some newbie doctor that was begging me to sell her some enhance packs.
but anyways if you want to know how much you can buf the formula is
avg = 1.1*(100+skill)/100*power
minimum = avg/2
maximum= avg*1.5
i got +56 wound treatment cloth and master doctor my highest enhance so far around 3100. I try to keep my pack above 800 but i calculated i can never get enhances below 1000 with a pack with 711+ power . with my highest enhance of like 860 strength(talk about useless) i get 1167-3500 enhances
There is no special skill required and no magical resource. Two master doctor using exact same resource will have exact same result given enough tries.
My advice is when you are experimenting, especially on final production, just experiment with 1 or 2 blocks at a time and don't try to squeeze in as much block before going over 0%. Maybe I'm just superstitious, but that seem to work out much better for me.
Frankly I think Enhanced D is all about Avian meat, Hervibor meat and Liq Petro 4.
Obviously, the subcomponents are a different story, but the final enhancement pack is all about the avian meat. Sure, the reactive gas plays a role as well, but, if you don't have excellent avian meat, you're out of luck. Let me explain...
In order to calculate the maximum experimented effectiveness, SWG uses this formula:
((OQ1+OQ2)/2000)*0.66 + (PE1/1000)*0.33 = Max Effectiveness Percentage
Notice that only avian meat has a potential energy attribute. Therefore, this attribute is effectively weighted twice as heavily as the overall quality for the avian meat. So, even though the schematic states 66% OQ and 33% PE, for avian meat, you're really looking at 50% OQ and 50% PE and, for reactive gas, 100% OQ. (Of course, DR plays into the duration of the buff, but we're talking about power here, not duration.)
So, with that in mind, re-evaluate your resources and see how good they are. If worse come to worst and you can't figure it out, post the stats of all of your resources (including the ones being used for the subcomponents) and I'll try to figure out what power you should be getting and where your "problem" is.
Just the other night, I was in a bind and didn't have any advanced CRDM's on me so I made and enhance D using regular ones (advanced BEC's and SDS, though) and I hit about 840 on power.
If you're having trouble with crafting, be sure to check out the FAQ, as well. I've put a lot of information in there about crafting and resource selection.

Hehe. Thanks. But, if you thought that was a lengthy explanation, check out the FAQ!
well maybe it's the way you experiment, don't use more then 3 points at a time, make sure your at a great station with 20+%, i get my packs over 800, range is 1k-3k it's a pretty nice range i think "since half of everything is bugged"
ummm, i try to use 900+ OQ, but really it all depends if you get luky with experiment but sadly my packs hold like 16ish lol so i use them to buff people instead of selling them, i would hate to charge people alot of cash just for like 15 uses

DR plays into the duration it is true however both duration and power falls into effectiveness and I have noticed huge difference between using Organics with high OQ/PE low DR and high OQ/PE/DR to make enhance action D.
Sure the one with the high DR comes out with a longer duration but weirdly enough they come out with a higher power too. Probably because as I said power and duration and both regrouped under effectiveness and you are experimenting on effectiveness....
Somehow the DR affects the experimentation process too and it is weird.
I can assemble 20% effectiveness enhance D and then the game will let me experiment all my 100 experimentation pts and getting great success with all of them.
And I have assembled 25% effectiveness enhance D and after using 9 pts ( all getting great success) I had capped the experimentation ( at a higher % than the last ones) and had 1 pt left to use on charges.....
Firstly, I'm pretty picky with my resources... the aggegate quality of my resoureces (OQ+ PE/3) is always 800+. I use advanced, maximum experimented components (ABECs, ACRDM and ASDS) and I experiement on the final product and get great or amazing successes.
But for the life of me I can't seem to budge over 600 power on my enhance D's!! I typically get 570 to 600 power, even with maximum experimentation on effectiveness.
A 600 power Enhance D will yield a maximum buff of around 1800. But you'll also get crappy 800-900 buffs on the odd occasion.
Yet I hear of people buffing for 2500 all the time!
So my question is:
What are you master docs averaging on your Enhance D's in terms of power? Is 600 as crappy as it seems?!
Can't remember the precise numbers but OQ accounts for 66% of the effectiveness and DR is something like 33%
Your target number in that case would be as close to 1333 as you could get it.
My packs with a total value (using my formula) of 930 or so, with all advanced components gets up to about 750 or so. My high buffs have been for about 2400 with those packs.
