What's a good all around combo to take with Doctor, both for PvE and PvP.....thanks

MHS? Sorry too early in the morning for me.....heh, I see tons of TKM/Doc...but I would like to do something a little different.....being a Rodian I get a bonus for swords.....is that a decent choice? Never used one

Heavy swordsman is Twohanded...

Fencer is one handed

TKM, Smuggler, Commando is Unarmed

Polearm,is Pikeman

I am a tkm/doc and here is what I think of it.

PvE. Great. you can solo most anything with ease. Execptions are anything with 100% Ken def such as Nightsister Elders. The only bad thing is when you collect avian those darn birds like to run on you and it gets a little old running after them.

PvP. Great in a group but bad by yourself. To many kighting rifles taking out your mind. In a group you can provide lots of support.

Overall.

Pros. Powerboost is great. Meditating your mind wounds is great. Doing missions is easy.

Cons. No range. Only ken damage so those with 80% ken armor in PvP will take you out and NPC's with 100% Ken resistance are imposible.

As soon asI loot a nice NS weapon im going to drop TK for Pikeman. Mostly for the change of pace.

I suggest you read the FAQ of each prof and make your own choice. There are good and bad with every prof.

I've mastered TK and sword and they are both great for pve. For most creatures TKM is faster but sword gives you a choice of 2 damage types (kinetic & blast) plus your swords are medium AP. In the geo cave my TKM has trouble with 1 enhanced Kwi but my Master Swordsman took on 2 of them at once with no trouble.

I love my Pikeman/Doc build, Great for PvE, decent in PvP, and my Nighsister lances take people by surprise! The area Dizzy/KD is nice for the NS caves and kunga/janta missions too.

I like my Doc/Gunfighter(Pistoleer) combo, but it's not as good for PvP as it is for PvE
