So I'm all excited...I buy a factory, I buy tons of (Or at least I THOUGHT) great resources...make some D packs and....they buff for 1780......................WHAT did I do wrong? I then found that the crafting tool I used to make the component schematics sucked. (-12.xx) And I used my droid as a crafting station. Was that my mistake? I now have a tool thats 14.xx BUT....i'm totally broke. Is there any hope? could I sell these crappy ass buffs? to newb docs maybe? uugh...need help. Please tell me HOW you guys make these buffs that hit for like 2300. My droid is the best med droid you can get, btw.

1. The droid crafting station isn't going to help or hurt; this from the 19 questions. It's supposedly neutral. So put the droid away when crafting.

2. Your food/chem crafting tool should be 14.9 or better(15.0 is ideal) to reduce the odds of crit fail on assembly and experimentation.

3. Use the highest rated food/chem crafting station you can for the same reasons as in point 2.

4. More experimentation points: higher stats. You must have +10 experiementation points in aprons, SEAs whatever to translate into an additional experimentation point in crafting.

5. Obviously use the highest OQ materials in your components and as a base for your enhance packs. OQ maxes out experimentation, PE speaks to power, DR affects duration of the buff. UT is the high stat you want for the inorganic element of your components and final buffs.

6. Make sure you buff with your 110 rated droid out and with bivoli in your system. A dead droid battery or a stomach empty of bivoli has dramatic effects on the power of the finished buff.

Using all the above, Jeffn can turn 800 power enhance packs into 2200 point buffs.

without knowing the stats on your avian meat and reactive gas, and the stats on the subcomponents, its pretty hard for us to tell you what your doin wrong

Also, you just say they buff for 1780. This doesn't help much. Are you using Bivoli Tempari? Do you have +25 wound treatment with BE clothes? Is your Battle Fatigue high? There is the possibility that your buffs are pretty good and you are just not otherwise prepared to use them to their fullest potential. Just let us know the stats of your components, plus the Avian Meat and Reactive Gas (as Agent stated) and we should be able to help out.

ABEC- Power 19 Charges 15

ACRDM- Power 50

ASDS - Power 67

I made a pack of con buffs. they say:

Uses - 22

Enhance - 607

Duration - 1200

Bivoli Tempari? I dont even know what that is. And I dont have any sort of BE clothes...and no Battle Fatigue here...

And for the meat and gas...

Avian Meat (Oresre)

DR- 123

PE-885

OQ-997

reactive Gas (Butegapyl)

DR - 285

OQ - 958

Everything is pretty good but I think the DR on the Avian Meat and the Reactive Gas is hurting your buffs (The ACRDM is a bit low but not the problem). DR doesn't directly relate to the power of the buff pack, but power and duration are experimented on the same line. The problem is you can max out the duration quickly because of your the low DR on your resources. This then makes it so that you can't experiment any further on the power (even though it should be able to get higher with your resources).

Bivoli Tempari is a food that can add up to +25 wound treatment, which will raise the level at which you buff at. You can also get BE clothes which can add the same amount. I would recommend getting both.

Ok sorry to ask but... did you experiment on effectiveness?

Yup, you need the clothes. I nearly forgot about that. +25 BE wound treatment attire is a must, along with the bivoli and the droid to get the most out of your buffs. I just automatically put on the +25 clothing without even thinking about it.

sounds like your probably using too many experimentation points at one time. try using 2-3 points per experiment. that should give you much higher numbers

Your resources look pretty good, and subcomponenets aren't bad at all. If you don't have any med assembly tapes, it is fairly common to get critical failures while crafting. Sometimes you need to craft a few times to get a pack with every experimentation point a great success. Head out to a research center city and ask around for a house with a crafting station, and try making your packs there. With what you have in resources, I see no reason why you wouldn't have some nice packs there.

Alrighty. I bought a nice Doctor Smock (Cool black one ) with +25 wound heal and +25 injury treat. Yaaaayyyy. Now my crappy buff does 1980. A lot better. For the other 5 buffs, i'll try that little at a time experimentation...once the bug is fixed. Thanks guys! I can't wait to be filthy rich

Don't forget the bivoli. That helps a lot also

Experiment 2-3 pts at a time on effectiveness. With great successes you should be able to max out effectiveness. Your base should come out to around 890 but only 7.4k or so duration.
