I have a problem. I usually charge 15k for 2440+ buffs @ 3 hours. I only charge 20k when there arnt any other Docs around. And 30k for a personal buff when i am not buffing, simply cause the price of bivoli.

Well even when i charge 15k i still get people saying im ripping them off, no buff is worth 15k, blah, blah.

This is my point, I buff you for 15k for 3+ hours. Then you get in a solo group, run 30k janta missions. Id say you can get in about 20 janta missions, spending about 8 minutes on each one. That equals out to approx. 540k. So your going to grief me about a 15k or 20k buff when you turn around in that same time and make a half a million credits and get so much exp you can almost master a combat prifession in a few days???

Also, do you have any clue how hard it is to get good resources? Meat from Yavin, fiberplast from tat, so on.... That takes alot of time and money with harvesters and getting meat. Also, when a bad run comes up of Lok wheat, we're screwed. And the crafting tree takes a long time to complete.

So i close with this. Stop saying a 15k buff is too much, be nice to the Doc's. Be considerate of what we go through so you dont have to die, or WE WILL START CHARGING 100k a BUFF!!!!!!!!

janta missions can be done quicker than 8 minutes each.
I'm TKM/Master Swordsman get each mission done in 1 minute or less then 2 minute or less drive to next mission.

And also not so many docs charge 15k the average price these days is 7-12k credits thats what I've seen so far on kettemoor. But I can understand charging extra for buffs when your not buffing the money for those are paying for you personal time wasted on idiots that will just go out and kill themselves.

Sure you can make alot of money running Janta missions, but say someone grinding a prof? running 6k quenker missions for a 0-0-3-0 TKA can take a while to do. So in charging 100k pr buff you do get more cash pr customer, but what about the people who cant afford the 100k pr buff?

100k comes kinda slow when you make 6k pr mission and it takes you 20 minutes to run each mission. Not every one who get buffed runs 30k missions ya know.

Easy sollution, charge what you like. I see more and more players getting doc alts, so people like you will be out of buisness soon enough, and the ones who dont have alts, call on guild docs, or doc friends.

Now before i got hte alt i usually tipped 50% more than what the doc was charging, but the behavior of certain docs make people hostile towards you. for instance :

- Letting people skip in line

- No paying attention to who is next in line.

- Refusing to cure poisons, desease, heal wounds.

Things go with the majority. Majority run missions for money. I can make 1 million in 2 1/2 hours, even if you're using buffs to grind 6k missions, run 3, and thats 18k. Money you make from running missions pay for the buff tenfold, 15k is a reasonable price - just remember you won't please everyone, and you'll just have to realise that some people won't be happy until Doc Buffs are free.

No matter how hard all docs try to convince those people that 15k isn't a ripoff, they will never get it. The majority of players don't think 10-20k is a ripoff. They realize what they get from it.

But there will always be those people that think just because all your doing is sitting there hitting a buff macro key you don't deserve 15k for the buff. No matter what, your not going to convince these people to think differently. Its just something you have to deal with in online games. There will always be people who think everyone is there just to serve them. The choice is basically to ignore them or stop buffing. Raising your price to a huge amount I think would actually be worse. You will just get more hate tells from the people that actually thought 15k was reasonable.

You can actually just run up and kick the bejeezus out of the lair without hitting the NPC's and hop on your bike, easily making 1.5 million credits per buff session (3.0 Hours). Even more of a reason why we can charge more for buffs. Though I digress that not all that need buffs have the combat strength to complete these missions and might not be able to make as much money...

I think buffs should stay the way they are, if EVERYONE starts charging 100k for buffs, lets take a look at what would happen....
Docs would become the insane money making class, if you buff lets say just 10 people in an HOUR, thats 10 people in 1 hour, that is almost nothing...you would still make 1 million credits, while the Joe Schmoe you just buffed would prolly only make 200k running janta missions in a solo group non stop, at best, in the same amount of time you made a 1 mill while just sitting around in town goofing off. Thus making everyone want a doc for the sheer money making abilities. Now everyone and their dog has a doc...yay, more buisness competition.

Next - Rangers... are dearly coveted sources for Herbavore and Avian meat. If they see us charging 100k for buffs, what do you think they are do ? Perhaps raise the prices per unit ? so joy, we our prices by 10x, now they are gonna do the same, but maybe by even more than what we did, in a retaliating backlash against out price increase. I dont know about you, but i already hate paying about 100cpu for avian meat and the 10-30 cpu that averages for herb meat... 1k-2k per cpu for avian meat now, and a few hundred creds per cpu for herb meat ? hell and these are just estimates off what the prices will be if we kick up to 100k, no telling how much they really will kick there prices up to.

Only bonus to this downward spiral that would happen, is if we are forced to start paying the new outrageous prices for meat, it might also spark more people into being rangers, but hey, fat chance that would happen, cause everyone and there dog want to be docs now.

Anyways, this is just my guess at would happen, after all, for every cause, there is an effect.

Yep, you can't make everyone happy. I remember people COMPLAINING that the shuttle wait had been reduced from five minutes from ten minutes, because they said it meant less time to chat and socialize with other people waiting for the shuttle to come.

I don't understand why you think you should get a major cut of the mission payments for spending 30 secs buffing someone. A weaponsmith could argue that he should get much much more than 20k for a weapon that can be used to run mission for millions. Etc etc.

I BARELY do public line sessions anymore. But when I do, I go for average 7-13k, depending on if I want to use biovoli or not. I see my price as fair because of what it is, and what it's allowing you to do. Not because you can earn it back quickly, I know not everyone is doing solo missions on jantas.

I don't think raising your prices per buff to 100k won't help at all imo. Just try to remember that you can't please everyone as much as you try, so just keep doing what you do and if someone gives you crap, that's what the /addignore command is for. Or, you can open up /note and jot down who you don't want to buff anymore.
