basic macro info;
u need an entire toolbar free for this, at the start put the 6 crafting tools u'r going to use in slots 1-6, the macro is going to be 6 seperate macros going from slot 7-12
u want to crate a dump macro, to do this name it dump, select what icon u want and do the command
/dump
and then put it in the slot under slot 12 for easy access, this will stop the macro.
macro walkthrough;
bits u can change are in bold
call the first one craft1
ok, the way the toolbar slots are numbered are from 00 - 11, don't ask why, its just the way they are coded
so the first part or the macro is
/ui action toolbarSlot00
this selects the crafting tool in slot 1, u can change which slot by changing the number
second bit is
/selectDraftSchematic 71
this selects what u'r making, the number at the end u need to change to what it is u want to grind, this is guess work, just put in a random number and then keep trying till u get to the item u want (its a good idea to run the macro away from a crafting station cus that affects the number too)
the rest of it u don't need to understand what it does, all it does is make the item in practice mode for u...
final bit is
/ui action toolbarSlot07
like the first bit however this will select u'r next macro in slot 8 (which u might want to name craft2 )
ok, heres the thing, u want to save this macro and put it in slot 7
then write it out again and only change the number on the first bit to slot 01 (changing it with each macro to 02, 03, 04 and finally 05 ) and also change the number on the final bit (this will go 08, 09, 10, 11, 06 )
now this is what u need to take note of, having the final macro selcting slot 06 is what will repeat it by sending it back to the first macro so it will run through them all again
basically the final macro craft6 should look like this
/ui action toolbarSlot05
/selectDraftSchematic 71
/pause 6
/nextcraftingStage
/nextcraftingStage
/createPrototype Practice no item
/createPrototype Practice no item
/pause 2
/ui action toolbarSlot06
i recomend naming the macros craft1 craft2 craft3 craft4 craft5 and craft6 as it makes it easier to put the right one in the right slot, it stops u form putting in the same macro twice which would screw it all up
i hope this makes it more clear

Wow, you have to be the strongest oponent of speeding up grinding I've seen on here
I'm not using tumblers, but I am using macros for crafting once in a while. The reason is my stimBs aren't selling well, and I'd like to continue along the path to Master Doctor. The reason for the macro isn't to speed things up, but instead to remove some of the tedium in clicking in the same areas of the screen over and over again.
I get most of my noncrafting xp from wound heals, which is a slow grind. So flame if you want, but I don't see anything wrong with using macros for some of the crafting grind.

Don't get me wrong I've used Crafting Macro's....But I've also been a Doc 3 or 4 times now. Grinding ABEC's is not the best way to go. You can use a Crafting Macro to Crank out Stim B's by the hundreds. And get paid for it.
The problem I have with people asking for macro's is that just about everyday there are people that post "Master Docs how to Craft XXX". Are you serious?!? You waste more crafting straight ABEC's then you do selling product on the Bazaar. Just my 2 cents, but I'm sticking to it.

With that I completely agree, and I haven't even mastered yet. I get questions from folks who were lower in their template than me, I helped them, and now they're all of the sudden master docs.. still asking. I've seen one for the last three days not only healing a tumbler in the Theed cantina, but the heals are on a macro too. Too bad I can't do anything to interrupt that one.
They just cheat themselves when they level that quickly without learning the tricks of the trade. But they'll be the ones that buff poorly or are almost no help at all on the battlefield.

Most definitely. I can't count the number of thank you's and tips I get for healing wounds. Seems a lot of docs on Valcyn (definitely not all though) consider it a waste of their time to heal wounds. /healwound is how I'm leveling my doc trees for the most part.
I can't cure any states yet, but that's certainly another viable doc ability, especially disease, which takes a long time to subside.
My guild is also excited that there will be two docs available for PvP groups when we hunt. I almost went CM, but saw a lot more value in being a doctor, and am glad I made the decision.

there was more to doc back then, the only buzz I get these days is from ninja curing the diseased loaders at coro.
Oh, and buffing noobs still cracks me up;
"arrggh stop!! what did you just do to my blue bar, it shrunk?"
As for the crafting macro, they should reinstate the 9 minute shuttle waiting times, you'll grind the doc tree without missing out on the rest of the game.
Agreed on all points. That's pretty much how I ground out the crafting tree, sitting around waiting, then half the time I'd have a screen up and miss the shuttle......as far as the crafting macro goes, I'm not against that one, you do actually have to be there doing your thing. All you have to do is play with the delay times, make them a bit longer. What's happening is you're actually opening two crafting tools on top of each other, by a couple of seconds, you're just not seeing that second one. Even with it tweaked, you'll still get that once in awhile.
