Seems to me it wouldn't be worth having a buffbot doc. Buffs only last 45ish minutes, folks would have to keep coming back to you. I never did a buffbot, so I couldn't tell you what they make. Post CU I've never asked for credits for a buff. Have received some though...

On Ahazi, there's at least one buffbot doc at Kadaara for the BHs. She's constantly buffing, there are only a few times when I've been there and I was the only one waiting for a buff. There are times when there can be up to seven or so people waiting to be buffed. There's also generally a buffbot in the Mining Outpost/Agro Outpost and I've been seeing one a lot at Nyms for some reason (Lok on Ahazi is a hellhole.) There are also some buffbots scattered around.

i miss the lines as well, (and i think they should pring back the 5-10min shuttle wait now that pretty much everyone has JtL, but thats a diffrent topic
)
i think now, you would look to gain more money healing wounds then you would buffing.
The buffs dont last for that long, and dont really do all that much diffrence. but now it takes a long time to full heal wounds, and on my server (Radiant) doctores are few and far between.
not many ppl tip at all, but you do get some nice ones that tip about 2-5k or so, not much but its the thought that counts =)

I get the occasionaltip from healing wounds. Its bad enough that it takes forever to do, sometimes you dont even get a thanks. I can understand if its a new player, but when I look at your bio and see 15 profession master badges along with 57 other badges you're just just being a cheapskate. These are the same people who complain that Im not "doing my job" cause I dont want to heal their wounds or rez them. /addignore is a wonderful thing.

Bottom line is that you really can't make money being a doc anymore. Buffs are worthless unless you are a MBH hunting down a jedi. In PVE the buffs that you would get from a doc aren't going to be that effective without a group anyways.
