Thread: Pikeman or tkm with doc?

Yes i am thinking about going pikeman because of all the tapes for speed and the accuracy, is it worth it because i wanted to know what goes best with it pikeman or tkm?

Id stick with tkm though. EVERY DOC is a tkm, or is grinding there. Tkm is a swift and efficient way of pve and pvp. Pikeman is a slower, but painful DOT (damage over time) profession. If you pvp...pike. If you pve something with little kinetic resistence...tkm. If you duel a lot...both (dizzy-kd-switch to pike-DOT-switch or stick and pummel with hit 2.

Tried both and preferred TKA, but it's your choice

I just dropped Master Tk, for Mater Pikeman.I'd have to say that Master Pike is the way to go .Tkm was fun but in PvP it was almost useless against a Melee Stacker.All u can do is throw knockdowns and Dizzy's, and ur Vk's wont do any damage against a Melee stacker.Of course ur server may not have as many stackers as my Server Bria does. I have found that in PvP as long as u have a good LVA, over 600 max dmg., and some good dots, ur very affective in PvP.

I would say Pikeman. Better armor piercing than TKM. Stronger in PvE. PvP for pikeman is weak unless you get DOT weapons, but in PvE, Pikeman rules.

Also, the benefit of Pikeman is you get an added damage type. Electrical with the Vibro Lance. Also, the armor-piercing medium as opposed to light from TK with the Long Vibro Axe.

I am telling you right now, only do pikemen unless you have some VERY mean pikes to back you up.

Well equipped pikemen + master doc = very tough opponent

If you do not have some very good pikes then TK is the way to go...Or rifleman

Back in the days, i used to run Swords alongside Doc.
I liked that temp very much

Now my combat char is a seperate toon, but certainly for my time with Doc/Swords i loved it
