Does anyone have the old information on Jedi TEF flags? What all causes them? Using any and every force power? Using a lightsaber in PvE or PvAnything combat? How long does it last? It's not permanent is it? I'd hate to be a constant and obvious red dot on everyone's radar.

Or is all that considered *spoiler* info now?

The only true thing know is using a force power will give the character a TEF. The rest is speculation.

1) does activating a lightsaber generate a TEF, some guess yes and some guess no.

2) some think you only gain a TEF for those who saw the use of force power. others think the TEF travels with you, so if you use a force power and run away, other people who did not see the use of force power can attack you. So if you are in the middle of nowhere, use a force power to kill a creature, then several minutes later someone come up to you they can attack you.

You will only be in constant danger of PvP if you are constantly using force powers, but then again isnt this how it should be. Just be more circumspect in your use and you can travel almost anywhere withoug gaining a TEF. You can even move freely in the Empire capital city of Bestine without being attacked.

when jedi gets tef WHO can attack them? i know the BH missions are bugged..

but who past BH can attack jedi when they TEF?

im hearing ONLY overt imps and BH with mission ( and lots of luck )

also im hearing when jedi tef's ANYONE can attack them regardless of profession or faction.. can anyone shed some light on this??

How does it work? Can anyone attack you when you are teffed or just imps or just Overt imps?

Overts+Coverts of the opposite faction can attack you when you have the Jedi TEF.

I believe it's just like gettinga TEF as a normal character, except that any LS or Force usage get's you a TEF. For a normal character it's just attack an opposing faction NPC you get a TEF. Jedi get it from any jedi-like combat.

While we are on the subject...I got a TEF last night for healing a Rebel. But I'm neutral. How does this work for neutrals?

I was at coronet starport and I healeda jedi's wounds while he was covert. He is rebel and I"m covert imperial. Next moment a bounty hunter attacked me and killed me.

Do you get a tef for healing a jedi?

If he had a bounty tef on him previously, you will recieve a TEF.

I am unable to understand this TEF process, unfortunity the DEV's did not provide this information. Nonetheless, there are some who posted Visibility information. A BH killed me lost 30k, when to the star port on endor, he kills me again, another 30k. I load to theed to heal my BF, i get killed again by another BH, another 30k. <shrug> Am I forever on the BH terminals!? Is system broke? I lost 90k of jedi xp, 30k rightly so, 60k I disagree with.

I really have an idea that nothing is broken. I think the devs are faced with the challenge of trying to limit our numbers and trying to make the Jedi profession simply not fun to play.

We cant hunt with each other, so we have to play alone..not much point of being multiplayer.

We work hard to get xp, and hide, yet we still get killed.

SORRY, just really frustrated.

There are some of us who think that the visibility system was broken when patch 10 went live. We think that you are now perma-terminaled and can do nothing about it. Some BH's even agree with us. This week there's a hot fix going in and we're hoping that it is being addressed.
