Some people are so annoying, like thepeople thattell me my buffs sucksbutthey will allow me to buff them for areduced price. SowhenI ask them why pay for aterrible buff at all they have no answer and I refuse to buff them they get all mad. When I wasa smuggler I negotiate the price all the time for slicing weapons, now as aDoctor I never negotiate the price of buffs and can barely get up with all the tells when I go to a busy city. Anyone else run into people like this, like your doingthem a favor after they insult you about your profession.

We don't have any control over the variability of our buffs. My prices don't change because my customers get a bad roll. I spend time and energy getting the best resources I can get. That's how I figure my prices.

I have had people say no way to my price but when the next person in line takes them and loves them they get back in line. I have had one person ask for a reduced price. If any 2 stats dropped below 1k they would pay me 6k instead of my usual 10k fee for starter planets. I agreed and ended up with a 20k tip on top of the 10k fee. I have not advertised that I am buffing in about a week and a half, I'm levelling fencer and we have crappy lok wheat on kettemoor so I haven't made any new packs yet. When I have more I may go back to it, but I don't think so.

It's funny how they don't realize what the doc crafting takes (time and effort, and lots of TIME), but forget about them it's just pointless to argue they suck and that's it. I have no clue what a weaponsmith goes through to make me guns, but you know what? I'm going weaponsmith commando next to find out. Good luck, doc aint what it's cracked up to be, I'm leaving it after working so hard.

Similar things happen to me occasionally. I'm a2440Doc. I don't publicly advertise. Usually someone sees me self-buffing or buffing PvP or PA peeps and asks. I hit them with my info macro (2440 Doc, buff enhance range and duration, and price 6k). About 10% of the time they start trying to talk the price down which is fine. I just say, "Sorry, it's 6K take it or leave it." If they argue beyond that point, I automatically double the price and then sit back to watch the fireworks fly. I don't take any of it seriously. Most people can't help it if they are emotional idiots.The really spectacular displays of abuse get written down so that I can snicker at them in the future in the hopes of precipitating more fireworks 
I just consider it justice for how we were all mistreated in terms of tips back in the days whenwe weremed center grinding.
Don't take any unreasonable flack from anyone asking for your services, glenndba. You have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Last night logging in to Theed Starport, the first thing i see is
XXXX enhances your action by 450...
So while logging on i was ninja buffed(terribly i might add) and immeddiatly ran away and told the guy that i was a master doctor, and he really should never buff unconsented. He replies to this with "Cool, master doc! can you train me please?"
and then with:
"If you do I'll have med use 90, and can buff better, do you sell buff packs?"
At first i was angered by the ninja buff, but the fact the guy still was able to ask for buff packs training, i had to laugh. I laughed pretty hard.

hahaha....why can't anyone Ninja Buff me so I can kill them. I've never been ninja buffed before...whats up with that....SHOW ME THE LOVE! LoL pretty funny story though.

Since those buff troubles started and the packs get worse and worse you can find more and more idiots around. Before I buff these days (Master Doc btw) I warn people that I can even hit under 1k so yesterday I started a buff Health was 14.. and Action 9.. so that idiot starts yelling that noone should be buffes by me, was so freaking pissed, whatever. He´s on my ignore list now and every other master doc I know won´t tread him as well, serves him right. But since this profession is so messed up I really begin to loose interest would hate to drop it since I´m a master doc from September 03 on. Anyway, lots of idiots around these days.

I actually had some fun with a jerk one time. I buffed this guy, all stats were over 1000 and 4 were over 2000, so it wasn't a bad set, but not the best I've ever done. He shorts me by 2000 credits because of one roll at 1013. He runs off so I write his name down on my no heal list. The next day he comes by and asks for a buff again, so I explain that he shorted me and he was on my no heal list. He gets mad and says that I just lost a customer. From what I can see I'm the only Master Doctor in the area. I then tell him he's free to find another Master Doctor.

lol thats why I love my master doc. Its funny sometimes seeing people ignorant about buffs and they get pissed off because I wont give them the services.

I charge a flat rate per unit enhanced, as I do with wounds. One credit per unit enhanced. That means 18k for 3000 unit buffs on all stats. I do not charge more for adventure planets. Nor do I advertise. Prior to the lowering of buffs, I could consistently get at least 2500 on my buffs, although now I am getting closer to 2000 average. I still have people requesting my presence on outer rim planets.
I am happy to send someone to the next doctor buffing, as there are planety of people who need/want buffs.
The way I see it, people are using the buffs for up to 3 hours if they are smart about it, and I had to spend MY time looking for the resources, and MY credits to buy enough of it to get a factory run.
Only people I buff for free are entertainers who haven't done the holo grind (I examine them to see mastered professions), fellow PA and hunt members, and the occasional player who seems deserving of a helping hand.
I would like to see Doc prices go up to meet mine, and have medics charge for healingso that they can make some money as well. People profit off of docs, and pay them jack.
