I am actually too quick to let a door hit me on my way out... especially since I dont know where the hands were on the last person to enter the game have been...



However, You dont have the full picture.. I have two other accounts that I am "phasing out" (total about $750/year of lost revenue for SOE)... and I am doing it in one month intervals... so... you'll have to "endure"about 70 days more of comments like this thread.

OK, I'm clueless. I totally missed the inference of the original post, and as a result it makes no sense to me. Would somebody care to give me a clue?

Implies that doctors are now clerics and shamans found in fantasy RPG's instead of doctors using medical supplies and equipment in a given hospital format...


Casting spells (healing wounds, increasing stats (health, stamina(action), etc.)instead of using crafted medicines and drugs for various purposes).


Doctors belong in Hospitals... Combat Medics belong in the field.


This Master Doctor goes bye bye in two days... But my two main alts (unfortunately) still have about 70 days (of life) left between them (an apparentlyfutile hope thatmajor changes occur pre-mortem).

hmm... realism... continuity... two entirely different things... I suppose that, in SOE's eyes, George Lucas was wrong. There is a huge difference between Science Fiction and Fantasy. I suggest that you look up the definitions and compare them. Star Wars "was" a member of the Sci-Fi genre... SWG has openedPandora's Box and released an evil genie which will pervertStar Wars and assign it to Fantasy.


... as for "get a life"... you mean a life like my company? The one that, after payroll, hardware/software life-cycle management, utilities costsand taxes nets approx $3millUS each year? The one that has no stock holders in it? The one that I built over 25 years of hard work... AFTER I retired from Military service? That kind of "life"?

ummm i kind of put star wars into the category of science fantasy. I feel science fiction is more technology based and well star wars has that but with the force and force using beings i kind of always felt it was science fantasy anyway. Plus i don't mind not having to gather material and crafting stims and well sitting in a starport might be alot of money but not much fun rather be out in the field with my friends hunting so i don't mind the changes.

the OP is right, though. this is a science fiction game no matter how you look at it, jedi or not. doctors should be in hospitals healing people with crafted medicine. period. and getting xp for it period! people should not have to search high and low for a doctor to heal them. what's the point of the hospitals now since all the doctors are all out in the field now? uggh! the CU has really screwed things up badly! and i am not even a doctor! i just wanna get healed!
