Disagree! There is a reason for merchants. Find one, and make a deal with them. I sell other people items on my vendors.

Another idea I have been thinking about would to be restructure the requirements for merchant, instead of adding the skills to the master box of Doctor or another master profession, make the requirements of novice merchant that of any Mastery of an Elite profession OR Artisan xx4x, this way any crafting masters or even "Master Looters" could build a business at a cost of additional skill points but it wouldn't be as draining as Artisan xx4x. In order to acquire the xp for novice merchant, you could add an xp reward for bazar sales, this way as you master your profession you can sell merchandise on the bazar and once you're master you can use the experience gained from these sales to become a novice merchant.

i think that all non comabat professions should have a sapperate sp ammount


works like pilot or mayor novice medic, novice scout ,novice artisian all the crafting professions


but the higher up professions require morepoints like the eat at your points you would use for combat.


as for the vender skills in master doctor your an idiot pick up artisain a deal

I understand where you're comming from on this, but no, merchants sell stuff, docs buff, rez and heal. If you want to sell stuff you want to be a merchant. Things should stay the way they are.

I think the point is more the SP cost to get minimal selling ability ... it's actually 9 SP for xx3x if you already have to have Novice Artisan vs. 24 SP for the same xx3x for Master Doctor (assuming no other need for Artisan, be that as it may). I think the idea of changing the prereqs for Novice Merchant would do nicely, allow alternate routes ... even the problem of gaining XP for it is solvable, bazaar sales would do, or if you can have somebody put a fee on your house and get friends to help...

I disagree with the premise entirely. As long as there is going to be a merchant class that takes skill points, there has to be some benefit to using those skill points.


And I do not agree that an alternate way to get to novice merchant would be good. I believe if you want to sell goods in this game, you should be a merchant (or artisan xx3x). If not, you are limited to the bazaar or starport shouting, or the wonderfully effective auction chat tab (lol).



while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall
