I used to not have this problem but now as soon as i stock my vendor with buffs it is sold out within minutes.
It has gotten to where i have people camping my vendor the day i am going to stock,i dont mind this so much,a lot better than never selling any at all but this is my problem.
I have quite a few customers and here lately only maybe 4-5 are getting buffs at each stocking.
I have thought about taking orders and fill, in order i recieve them but i only make 50 sets at a time with my set up and resources and it used to work great and customers have begged me not to.
I have even thought of shutting down for a week or so and build up a larger supply but i have had customers beg me not to.
I have had numerous requests to hold sets but i have had to refuse because of the great number of people wanting me to do that.
I dont know what to do,i have had to /ignore one customer and ban them because they got an attitude with me when i wouldnt hold buffs and threatened to buy elsewhere.I might unban then it just pissed me off at the time.
Any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Simple answer to your problem, raise your prices. It's all about supply and demand.

If my guildie can sell out 1000 sets @ 180k a set, I think the market on Bria is good enough to raise prices also.

Thanks jessi'ca , i think i have worked something out with my customers,
For the first time in a long time it took 5 hours to sell out my vendor lol
But i just asked people not to clean out the vendor right at first and it went a lot better.
A lot of people got buffs and that makes me feel better about being sold out for 2 days.
If we dont get another good avian spawn soon i may have to raise my prices but for now 120k-600k , i feel good about.
I am not a greedy person and sell my stuff as cheap as i can and still make a nice profit.
Shoot i sold sets for 90k-450k for a long time as a 10 point doc,i dont make anything but master buffs.
I will just have to wait and see if the(AVIAN GODS BLESS BRIA)or not LOL.

Do not raise your prices, just put a note at the top of your vendor list, or make a sign where everyone can see it. The note or sign will say something like "Only one 5 pack set of buffs per customer per day, or you will be banned from this store!".
This is what the best Buff vendor on our server does, and it seems to work great.
Hope this helps you.

wow! i must say that is really cheap. the buffpacks on Lowca or Tarquinas are never that cheap. I'm paying over 100k per set. Now that I'm buying them in crates, i still pay about 100k if i divide them into sets. And they're not even prime sets, some are probably under 850 stats. I'm seriously contemplating making my own but like u all know, resources aren't that easy to find and it's a killer when we dun have enuf time in the day to play.
Oh one more thing, if the tip doesn't appear in my spatial or combat chatbox, that means I didn't get tyhe tip right?!?!
humph... all for a 10k buffs, it's all a game and we're being scammed this way that way and bank tip and also noobs or players claiming that they're noobs demanding free buffs cos we're a doctor
so how do we overcome this?? it's an ongoing cycle of craziness. we get respect and we get scammed, i guess...

These would go for less than 96k a set on Sunrunner lol.
That being said... It's not really a question of greed if you raise your prices IMO. For me, a good merchant has to raise his prices to match his rhythm of production, so that the vendor is never out of stock... Period.

You could stagger your prices for the same product.
Have a few low prices, med and high. This way those that get there first will still be able to buy them a low prices and those that get their late can still buy them at all if they really need them. You can use the price to stagger when the packs will sell. You will getlots of tells asking why the price is different for the same item. Just tell them the trueth.
Remember, those that are buying the packs are most likely buffing for cash. So the only thing your doing by raising the price is shifting who gets the profit from the buff (the crafter or the buffer).

This post is the very reason I do not have a vendor anymore. I just could not keep it stocked. At one point I was selling a million credits worth of Stims a day. It is hard work to keep factories running and resources coming it to meet demand, especially enough meat to make ACRDM's.
We actually have the profession that along with chef needs the most resources. Weaponsmiths may need a lot of resources to make a T21, but they ain't flying out of the vendor in crates of 50 and if they did the person would not be back for more in a week.
