Well, your mind points don't make any difference. I don't know what the skill tape is for - you didn't say what it effects (wound treatment?).

You can charge whatever you like. Master surgeons won't buff as well as you (assuming you're using the same equipment). I've actually taken a liking to charging 1 credit for 2 points buffed. Averaging about 2000 points per buff, it works out to be between 5k and 7k credits for a full set of buffs. It keeps my customers from getting the shaft on bad buffs and it gives me incentive to make the best packs I can.

If everyone went to such a scheme, you WOULD be making more than a master surgeon.

I stand behind the Master doc yelling, "Master Doctor sellingbuffs. 5k for all 6 stats." Then when people ask me if I'm buffing, I say in a tell, "yes...8k...plus tip if you're impressed."

I get to explain the difference between a doc buffing stats that averages 1200 and one (me) who averages 1750 and hits up to 3.3k.

I pay up to 20 CPU on my avain meat. I get all the avain meat I want...and only the good stuff. I spend a lot on buff packs. If you do too, don't be afraid to charge more.

I carry two sets of buffs, one with 850 capability and one with 500. I charge 15k/7.5k respectivly, and seldom does anyone complain. When someone does complain, well they walk.

This current set (Crates:smileyhappyof buffs I made months ago, before I gathered extremely high quality resources. Once I run this next factory set of buffs, I will charge 8K per set same deal.

Hehe, depends on which packs I use. I have my regular D packs ~800 base that I do the 6 stat for 5K thing. Then I have my "Doctor Griggs' Secret Stash" Health and Action packs made with awesome Janta blood and amazong resources. Base is a little over 1000 on each. For those I do not charge because no one but be and fellow leaders of my guild get buffed by those packs

I do .75 cred perpoint buffed on the starter planets and 1 cred per point buffed on the advanced planets. Very few complaints since I hit for an average of about 2200 on most of my buffs. And the guy that got the 16000 overall point buffed payed me the 12K plus another 12K for the great roll (it was on Naboo).

6k for all 6. No bargaining. If they start barganing, I put them on ignore. If they whine about getting a low buff, I put them on ignore.

I play Master doc kwisatz on the valcyn server and i have to say that 6k per buff is fine if u are advertising and need the credits (not all of us have combat as our secondary class). But, If u have your doc tag on and they send u a tell they should be charged more. Two reasons for this. THe first is that they know the value of the product and want it. Theyplayers that send buff requests often run missions that pay up to 25k (slicers, and grouped players on advanced planets) per and make 200k per hour easily and alot of proffesions can solo those missions. Second is that it is your time that they are playing for. We have to talk about the price, agree on it, wait for the player to come to us, then apply the buffs. This takes up to 20 min. I am sorry but 6k does not cover the value of this service. I charge 15k as a base and 25k on advanced planets with other factors added in. 5k extra if i miss a shuttle, 5k extra if i get a tef, and 5k extra if i wait more than 10 min for them.

Some will say that this is too expensive, but this is a player based economy. The "going rate" is the balance between what plays will pay and what players will sell for. For all of my effort in making them and spending the time to apply them that is my going rate. I would rather save them for myself or my guild than sell it less than this to a tell customer. I do give deals to entertainers (they make crap and it is unfair for the service they give), hunters (to lower the cost of resources i buy form them), and new players who honestly need help. It cost 30 credits per unit of good meat to make factory runs of great med packs on my server. plus the cost of factories and harvestors. I will not spend my time online just to make others rich. This service is elective so i charge for it. I never ask for payment for healing wounds. I sit at the starport and do it for free. But that takes reasources to make as well and we don't get enough tips to cover the cost of making those packs.

If u agree with me raise your prices, you should. If not let the flamming begin.

Here's a funny story. There was a guy on Dantooine yelling if anyone was buffing. So I sent him a tell saying I could buff. He asked how much and I said 5k for a full set (don't b*tch at me, this isn't pertinent to my story ). He then asked me if my buffs were "good buffs or bad buffs".

I replied that I have some of the best buff packs I've seen on my server but due to a WIDE variability I couldn't guarantee high end buffs and what did he consider good buffs.

So then he sends me another tell saying "well my friends always buffs me for 3k+, what do yours do?". I replied "due to the random nature of buffs, I can buff from 1200 to 3300+ and there is no way your friend can buff you for 3k+ everytime"

He then said "yes he does, and his name is "insertnamehere" and you can ask him."

Needless to say I didn't buff the guy since he EXPECTS 3k+ buffs on all stats and that is just not possible to guarantee.

yeah i dislike customers who know it random but still get fustrated when its not 3000 but on the better side i got my first house call it was awsome. You see i buffed this guy befroe and i got a whole lot of high roles none under 2500 so later tht day he paid me to come buff him his group and his pets for 100K plus he paid for my ticket and i only did about 6 buffs it was nice to be sought after

I agreee with the whole "player based economy". It's not like we are selling things that are VITAL to the game. We are selling advantages...luxury items for those who want to be able to extend their lifespan in high-HP environments. As such, I consider my buffs as a "luxury item" and charge as such.

All of my buff packs are base 850 or so. However, I do like that one person's ide about having a "second buff set" with lower bases and charging a little less. If nothing else, it will help me clean out my inventory for some of the lesser packs I've made.

I charge 10k for a full buff set, or 2k per individual stat increased. I've tried bumping this up to 15k on the advanced planets, but to be honest I don't get much business that way. I do /shouts for messages once i a while, but not all the time. When you guys are charging 15k, where are you at? OR is that just your base price on those planets?
