Thread: Buff line?
Thanks.
I believe yu have to be at least 0,0,4,4. Have the knowlege line and the Crafting line. Cause buffs other than D's pretty much suck ass.
So, what's the opinion on the lines I should go first in general?
Should I do the Usage line or would it be better that I do the others first? My primary goal right now is to be a decent buffer first, but if it works out better that I should do the other lines first, than I will.

Which line(s) short of Master do I need in order to buff? This includes any line for enough Med Use to use/make the high end Buff packs.
Thanks.
You have to be at least 0/2/4/0 to actually buff, and 0/2/4/4 if you are planning to make your own
When I first started out as a DOC, I was told to go from left to right. But in your situation you want to do buffing right away huh? Tough call as to what to do. Granted you can buy advanced parts or have a master make some packs for you since you can use them... but at what cost? Have u found a reliable medical supplier? If so then go ahead with the 2 lines I mentioned. I usually charge 6k for buffs per a set of six. One buff kit...provided that I can experiment succesfully will yield about 20 uses=20k for one stat. Not cheap im my books, especially if in the crafting sense. But once u get ur own system going it will be a very very profitable businness.
Good luck and send me a tell if you ever need anything
I forgot to add, you can only make enhance d's at master lvl, enhance pack c's will be the highest you can make if you are not going the full whack
The info given here is eaither partially correct or just plain wrong. I would suggest checking the FAQ for details.
However, here's a quick rundown.
In order to use an enhancement pack, you must fulfill two requirements. First, you must acquire the /healenhance skill, which is available at Wound Treatment 2. Second, you must have a med use rating at or above the requirement of the enhancement pack you wish to use. That could vary depending upon which level pack you want to use, but you can earn more med use by moving up the medicine knowledge tree. If you want to use D level buffs (the best you can make), you'll need to be at Master Medicine Knowledge and you'll have to get special packs with the med use lowered to 90 or below (they usually have a med use of 91-93).
If you want to craft your own enhancement packs, you'll have to go up the crafting line. The higher you go, the better packs you'll be able to construct. At Master Crafting, you'll be able to make D level packs for only health and action. You'd need to make it to master to make D level packs for the seconadry attributes (strength, quickness, etc.).
Also, even though 0/2/4/0 will allow you to use D packs, you'll use them better the higher you go up the wound treatment line. For example, at 0/4/4/0, you'd be able to use the same packs, but your enhancements using those packs would be better than if you were at 0/2/4/0. Likewise, no one can buff better than a master doctor.
Like I said, check out the FAQ fore more details.
You get healenhance at 0/2/0/0 which is the actual buff skill.
Your proficiency, and therefore overall effect improves with the rest of the tree.
The 0/0/4/0 Gives you a medical use skill of 90. Enhance-D packs will need experimentation to improve their ease-of-use.
Go 0/4/4/0 and get a master doctor to create a set of Enhance-D packs for you at Med Use 90. You will also be able to revive players.
The minimum to buff with ANY packs:
- 0200
The minimum to use D level Buffs:
- 0240
To get the best buffs possible without Mastering Doctor:
- 0440
To make your ownHealth and Action Dlevel Buffs and C level Secondary Buffs:
- 0004
To make all the D level buffs
- MD
I think the best way to do it is to get all the crafting line ASAP and start using your factory and pile up the Buffs meds. Also craft allot of Wounds and stimspacks usinf factory so o do the other line you dont have to carry allot of single in your inventory you carry only Factory crates it takes allot less place in your inventory and its allot easier to mannage.
Its whatI plan on doing with my second char. I have already 0121 and sould have 0132 tonight. WhenI hit the 0134 I will be using my factory like crasy, no more hand crafting but to craft schematics. I got my hand on uber crafting tool factor 14.250 and in our Med center the crafting station is rated 11.5, i should be able to craft pretty decent stuff if the resources is good enought.

Well Mcglonec
In theory, yes he could go this rout of medical knowlege to start the buffing line so my reply was not wrong. I assume that he was possible buying supplies or the kits to addminister the buffs and the 0,0,4,0 line is what he should do otherwise how could he administer them? The effectiveness of the buff that is a another issue. Provided that he throws on a BE +25 medical smock and uses a 110 medical use droid he should be able to give decent buffs provided that the buff packs are made with advanced componets and other pray that other variable don't come into play i.e. players battle fatique, SOE being SOE!
you cant buff at 0044
you MUST HAVE the second box in wound treatment (0200) in order to apply even an A level buff
