Thread: Disease Question.
Open the Community Window. Choose Doctor under Classes. Hit the Search button. If you find a Doctor listed there ask him if he can cure you. If you don't find one listed then travel to another city until you do. Theed or Coronet are your best bets.
Most Doctors hang around Cantinas for Medical XP so if you can't find one in the med center you should try there as well.

Done it - I keep getting excuses and whatnot... blarrgghhh
I'm out in the middle of no where, no one around to heal me...........how long does this last...what is full damage, is it gonna wipe out my health bar?
Dude your health is toast...not to mention your BF will be nearing 1000. Are you offering tips? Sorry to hear that you can't find a single Doc to help 
Most of the long-lasting diseases come from "diseased" creatures. They last a long time but only tick for between 1-3 wounds every 40 seconds. I don't believe any of them last more than about60 minutes. In all not enough to incapacitate you, but just enough to be an annoyance. You best bet is to heac back to a city from out in the middle of nowhere (and don;t fight MOBs that have disease-like names! THey are called Diseased Nunas for a reason.) If nothing else you could get what few wounds you have taken healed up in a Med center. Heck even the autoheal in a Med Center will heal you faster than these diseases will take you down, generally speaking.
If you do a search for a Doctor be sure to offer them something. Don't just ask, or eve worse TELL them to heal you. Be polite and offer to pay them for the service. People don;t play Doctors just to cater to anyone who wants a heal and it costs them time, money and resources to make the packs that are used to cure and heal people.
That's about the best advice I can offer. OVerall, though, these diseases really are just an annoyance, not the end of the world.

Excuses? You expect us to be your servants?
Logging off does nothing. I logged off with a disease two days ago. 18 hours later I logged back on and the disease was still there. I stayed for an additional 45 minutes. You are screwed if you can't find someone to cure it.
