Thread: Buff Macro?
This is not an afk macro, please note. You can use this when in an Entertainer group, you do not need to be grouped with your customer. In order for it to work, you *must* /setp to the customer, which means you must be at the keyboard. It simply cuts back on fumbling and makes your buffing as time efficient as possible, while allowing you to talk and socialize.
Ok, you know how to use the toolbar, right? On the toolbar, the first slot is "ui action toolbarSlot00" and you number them consecutively from that point. There is no need to use a second row, but if you're really creative and want to change music, or do specific /flo's etc, then the second row that you can drag down you just keep numbering in the same way -- I think the second row starts with "ui action toolbarSlot12" but count them to be sure.
Ok, first off -- get yourself some Accaragm. I am also a Master Chef, and this drink is widely available on the Bria server -- or find a Chef to make you some. If you drink this stuff, you will never need worry about running out of green bar. I macro it -- I make the first toolbar button my "Drink" button, and program it as follows:
/ui action toolbarSlot01;/pause 1200; /ui action toolbarSlot00
I drag a stack of Accaragm onto the second toolbar button.
I drink one Accaragm and hit the "drink" button, and I will automatically drink another every 20 mins.
For the Buff:
/startmusic virtuoso;/flo 1;/flo 2; /flo 3; /flo 4; /flo 5; /pause 8; /flo 6; /flo 7; /flo 8; /flo 5; /flo 4; /pause 8; /ui action toolbarSlot(put number of button you want for the Buff Button here);
I make a "BuffTalk" button that gives directions:
/say Target me and start listening now!;/pause 240; /say Stop Listening!!; /pause 2; /say The buff kicks in when you stop listening;
To do buffs: when a customer asks for one, you can target them and type /setp if you're *not* playing a Nalargon. I always just type /setp (player's name goes here) to be on the safe side and keep in the habit of *not* targetting them, cause I'm usually playing the Nalargon. I then /tell them to listen, ask if they are, and /tell them to follow my spoken directions. Then I hit my "Buff" key, my "BuffTalk" key, and my "Eat" key (if I didn't do that already) When I'm done, really there's nothing else for me to do -- I usually play the five flo's and pause 8 seconds, because the Accaragm allows me to do that, and that way all I have to do to buff is /setp and hit the "BuffTalk" button -- but if you didn't want to flourish that much, you could hit /dump after the buff.
By adding the "ui action toolbarSlot ##" command above to your macro, you cause it to "loop" -- to continuosly renew itself. To get it to stop doing that, you can either type "/dump" or make a button that you can hit with the only macro command being /dump.
I also make mini macros for /stopmusic, /changebandmusic, and /denyservice.
/say Buff next buff cycle starts in 30 seconds;
/pause 30;
/join;
/say Applying Nutrient Injection;
/nutrientInjection;

/say Applying Disease Innoc;
/diseaseInnoculation;

/say Applying Poison Innoc;

/say Applying Serotonin;
/serotoninInjection;

/adrenalBoost;
/say Buffs are now complete.
/disband;
/macro bufff;

Here is what I wrote this afternoon. It seems to work, but I am willing to test it. Tweek the times based upon your mind recovery. Very slow, but it seems to work for my AFK bot. Make sure you name if BUFFF (with three f's):
/say Invite me for buffs;
/say Buff next buff cycle starts in 30 seconds;

Don't you have to have a command to target the player in the group, or does just being in a group with someone auto buff everyone?
