Thread: how are you all getting crafting XP?
It takes so long to do it manually with crafting stations and a droid; this is the only XP I actually pay attention too (When I'm in the field with my guild, I focus on healing them, not gaining medXP --- thats what a doctor should do
). Is there anyway I can speed this process up, as I am soon going to be ready for master doc, aside from the crafting tier required.
I have 3 tools, no crafting station, and crap resourses. I grind BEC's when walking from point a to b, when waiting for friends, when waiting for the shuttle, when ever there is a two second gap in what I am doing, etc.
I recived 25K of bone from a friend, and I mined like 30K 25 OQ lub oil, and i carry it everywhere. grind crafting at every operotunity. I am now after several weeks of this 10K away from getting my last block.
I have my tools running all the time, when ever I can
If you have enough Tat fibreplast and Lok wheat, grind Advanced BEC's on 4 stations like crazy. They're about 86 xp each in practice mode.

Hey all,
I'm not sure of the name but one of the adv components (maybe adv infection amplifier), takes titanium aluminum and eleton reactive gas. I was able to buy both cheap and they weren't hard to find. I ground out 50k exp in two days topping out my tree. If you use practice you get 120 xp per, which is better than any other med craftable and it only takes two resources.
at least its not chef which is about 808000 crafting exp to get useless buffs doctor is only about 95000 exp to master then entire crafting profession and get defenetly the best buffs in the game..
makes sence though why should a class that takes so much more exp devoted to nothing but buffs be able to buff beter then a class that can do so much more and takes so much less experiance.
I just finished the crafting grind last night. I'll admit that I only did grinding for the last two boxes, as I've been selling B's for the whole ride to the top quite happily.
For my grind, I used my usual three tools, and crafted three more. I had a pile of 7K aluminum and I bought about 5K worth of some junk beans. Used the practice crafting macro posted elsewhere in this Doctor forum, but I stretched it to cover 6 tools. I actually had to link two macros to get it done. had a total of 8 second between crafts. Took about 2-3 hours for the final box, which flew by as I was watching the "All Law and Order,All the time" channell.
I did SDS's because they cost only 8 and 8 of org and inorg, but have a complexity of 18 - I think it's one of the only items with more complexity than resource cost. I might have done ABEC's, but I can't bear to waste any LWW on practice.
...Now if only they would grant exp for operating factories... Open input hopper = 40xp, pay maint = 50xp, insert power = 36xp, etc etc... sigh.
