Any other servers facing this problem?

Right now on Bloodfin we have the following resources...

44 OQ 650 PE Lok Wheat

199 OQ 93 UT Tat Fiberplast

752 OQ Talus Water

116 OQ 402 PE Dantooine Berries

No class 4 liquid petro

It's terrible. I can't get a Stim-B up over 33u-350h any more. I'm still spending the same amount of time and money to make stims, but the quality is just horrid. I actually had to lower my prices in order to feel like I wasn't ripping off my customers. It's just horrid right now. Understand that I harvest 90% of the components that I use, so my costs are static. I have friends that harvest the last few components and they are just doing it to help me out. They drop off the components for 2.5cr a unit on my vendor no matter the quality. Since they can't really control what Tat Fiberplast they harvest we've just agreed to that price.

It's almost sickening to go from 35 use, 400 heal stims to 31 use, 340 heal stims. I know there's a few doctors left on my server that have reserves Stock Piled of the good stuff, but I just started in the business a few weeks ago and I don't have the luxury of a PA backing me at this time.

Yeah, most servers have at most one or two advanced ingredients in good quality. And, needless to say, nobody has enough Herbivore meat of any quality. When a good resource does appear, it is amazing to see the people stocking up. There were easily 100 harvesters grabbing Dantooine Berries in a 90+% deposit just outside the Imperial Outpost a few weeks ago on Kettemoor.

I Admit. I spent the money 2 weeks ago to buy 4 Heavy Water Harvesters when there was 990+ OQ Water on Talus. I have 50k of it left and it's just parked in my bank. I'm not going to pull that out again until I get some good Dantooine berries and can crank out the 180+ Adv. Liquids.

I've got 11k of some 990+ Tat Fiberplast that I paid a huge price for and have that stored away as well. Maybe someday we'll get this Lok wild Wheat to change.. It's been this 44OQ stuff for a LONG TIME.

Lowca has had some pretty crappy resources as well. We got Dolovite and Petro 4 finally a shift ago and were awful, but the Dolovite now is GREAT! Better believe I'm getting as much as I can. If you see something good, get as much of it as you can and stock-pile it.

I think, not sure, that all servers lack Class 4 Liquid Petro at the moment. Sucks too cause i did a galaxy search on bazaar and baught all 200 units of it. Ohh well.

The problem is that the resources needed for advanced meds are very specific. Therefore, you often have only 1 choice of what to harvest at any given time. It just so happens that there are a lot of garbage resources out there (along with a handful of really nice ones). I was just going through the organics on my planet the other night looking for something good to harvest and I was amazed by the horrid stats on many of them.

It's just the way it goes - with only 1 resource to choose from, you're going to end up with whatever is there. So, when something good does crop up, pounce in it.

I've started working with an Architect to make me a set of heavy harvesters just for "resource pouncing". I now have a bag in my bank with a bunch of extra harvesters. Right now my ahrvester inventory looks like this..

I use 2-4 Factories as needed (Have 5 total JIC)and have 1 small house that account for 5 of my slots on average.

4 Heavy Flora. (1 permenantly on Lok, 1 Pulling OQ:930wood and 2 on Pounce Backup. *I normally keep one on Dantooine, but I'm overloaded with berries and adv. Liquids right now)

2 Heavy Mining. (Both Currently on Rori pulling Dolovite)

2 Heavy Water. (Both Currently in the bank, normally I keep one on Talus, but I've got a surplus of Adv. Liquids and water to make them)

2 Heavy Chems (1 on a OQ:995 PE:650Unknown liquid Petro to combine with the wood I'm pulling with a Heavy Flora and 1 in the bank)

These seem to be enough to allow me to "Pounce" as needed. Hopefully we'll see a change on Lok for wild wheat to counteract that crap Fiberplast on. Having all of these heavies seems to work out well for harvesting. Hopfully I'll be able to pull some stronger adv. components soon.

Well I have been pretty much gathering theseresources since about 2-3 weeks after the game came out. The only resources on Bloodfin that I have not found in high quality are... Class 4 petro, and Dolovite Iron. The rest of them have all poped up with decent to superb stats. The Lok wheat I have, I harvestered about 1.5-2 months ago and havent seen it with better stats since. Guess it all depends on when you started looking for these ingredients.

Lowca has Class 4. I just have no survey skills so I cannot go out and find a nice concentration yet (Or that dolovite). Working a second character up to be my survey whipping boy to find me stuff.

Ack Nashara I have wps on the dolovite and the petro 4. I'll email them to you in game when I get home. I have a little network of drs that I exchange resource info with. I'll add you to my list. If you want to try to find it on your own till I get home the dolov is SE of Kaadara about 1k-2km...you'll see tons of harvs. Petro 4 is on talus outside the imp retreat about 800m...forgot the direction. Just look for harvs named "Cinnabuns"

I'd appreciate that very much. Even though I am working up the second character to be my survey boy, at the end of a long day at work, i just want to log in for a couple of hours with Nashara and now worry about switching over to the other character. The waypoints will help me stay Nashara. Hehehehe.

Bria doesn't even HAVE Class 4 Liquid Petro... and Lokian wheat is always like ... 200OQ max, 200 PE. =T

I think very server is facing a situation where at least one needed component has fallen by the wayside OQ wise.

My advice is when a "good" one pops up, throw all your harvesters on it and stock up, because you never know what the next lot is going to be like. Scylla has 947 OQ Lok Wheat right now, and my groundshaggers are working overtime.
