I was thinking pikeman/rifleman or tka I want somthing that is good in pve and pvp.

I might go tkm but after masterign tka over 2 times it gets boring i never tried pikeman but im curious if pikeman is stronger in pve then tka.

i tried pikeman once while I was hologrinding. I got to 1/3/2/3 or something and i had to quit. It was sooooo slow. But in the end it worked out. I movedto do Architect then DE, and DE unlocked for me.
So the moral is: in my experience good things come from not doing pikeman, and nothing good comes from doing pikeman

Great post.
I'm a pike/doc, and it is quite good... But swordsman is probably a better pve profession.

TKA is really quick hitting in PVE, but you are limited to kinetic damage with limits somewhat the type of MOBs you can go after. You can heal your own wounds, but since you are combining with Doc, that's not really an issue. I'm doing a swordsman/doc toon myself that I will use mostly for PVE, you can do blast and kinetic damage, but the swordsman doesn't have very high melee defense. I did pikeman for a while and it was way better than I thought for PVE, you use an area attack to dizzy all the MOBs then use an area KD, then just pound 'em while they are down. With fencer you get awesome defenses which would work with PVP and PVE. I would try Sword or Fencer with Doc, then if you can loot one of the awesome mind fire pikes from the nightsisters, switch to pike, you will be awesome in PVP with one of those pikes.

Oh, I see you were also considering Rifle/Doc, tho i'm partial to melee profs, Rifle/Doc is an awesome PVP/PVE combo, just be prepared to shell out some coin for really good weapons. This is a great combo.

I'm Rifles/Doc but this game REALLY seems to favor meele over ranged profs. I've been TKM and loved it, but from evryone I've asked HS is Much better. just my $.02

Im a Doc/Swordsman myself. A good power hammer plus healstate pretty must allows you to own any pve content (unless it's a nightsister with a stun baton). Doctor brilliantly complements a swordsmans lack of defences.
Dont pvp much but with speed tapes (or FS Skills) and a nice acklay power hammer, I think a swordsman/doc could be competitive (with the right mind buffs etc).
I was TKM for a while and having kinetic damage only is frustrating at times.
Rifleman is good for both pve and pvp but again, it helps to be speed capped. I hate having to keep running to ideal range while fighting so I guess your preferred play style mau be a factor to consider.

Swordsman is the ultimate PvE profession, hands down... there is no other that can stand up to it.
For PvP, Swords can be awesome if you have enough credits to cap your speed and get heavy hitting dmg sliced acklay hammers... that shtuff hurts.
