On Chimera at least - no C4 petro fuel or decent wheat in a long time.
What's it like on your server?
Eventually, we won't be able to make 940-power buffpacks.... Do you think this is a deliberate choice by SOE - get us used to crappy buffs, in light of the upcoming CU?
anyway, I'm trying not to be paranoid, but it's frustrating as a new doc not to be able to get my hands on resources that I need for my profession

I highly doubt this is some ploy from SOE. Just bad luck. Class 4 is super rare as it is. As for the wheat, just bad luck. My server just had an awesome spawn of wheat like 2-3 shifts ago.

I don't think so. I thought they were deliberatelty keeping the resource stat's low on Chilastra, then all of a sudden we got a few good runs of Avian and Herb. Just waiting for some good Gas now. I think your server is just experiencing a bad run right now.

Actually, the OP may have a point to some extent ... when JTL came in, resource spawning changed. There's a real scarcity of gases, for example, and I doubt chemical is all that great. Lucky for me, the first Radiant spawn of JTL Gas was 900+ on OQ and DR, and lasted about 3 weeks...

9 months of no good Class 4 fuel spawn is bad luck?

9 months of no *Good* C4.....it doesn't matter if it's good or not, you take what you can get. Atleast if you have *some* C4 you can craft the advanced stuff. C4 if super rare, so even if its a poor quality, you should get what you can.

yeah c4 doesnt come around too often, i think 3 shifts for like 8 months on my server ...
i believe wild wheat PE is capped around 700 or 600

You mean 3 *good* shifts. We had it up for about3 months continuously not that long ago...
And wheat is PE capped at 700.
(edited to add: and I just bought a bunch of our server best spawn for 1 cpu, so I know you're not complaining...)

Blahh, cry me a river.
Come to Flurry, we had 2 spawns in a year that would hit over 910.
Of course everything is relative so a 875 buff pack aint so bad.

Wish it was just no good C4 on our server, we have had no good avian for 7 months my crafting doctor hasnt really done much in the way of buff crafting

Lowca has has a banner time lately.
We had the best shift in Lok WW, 957/500 or so about 4 months ago, and other shifts coming in have been a whole lot better than the previous years.
Avian 937/990/701 from naboo so it was plentiful to get, with other 900/600 meats coming in often.
Herb 997/629 from yavin
Consistanly have decent Tat fiber, 800 oq is common, with 900+ oq/ut every few months it seems
Reactive gas is a bit slower, but have had some near 900 OQ with crappy DR lately. But most have had this stockpiled from ages gone by.
The chems, yes, there hasnt been a good shift in liquid petro 4 in a long time. But, stockpiles keep me going on that.

I play both a master doctor and a master combat medic. My doc has it really really easy compared to my CM.
I'm still running on stuff that spawned over 12 months ago for my cm crafting and those are far from uber.
as for class 4, get it when you can, tarqs had a total of 3 spawns that you would say were decent, the top one was only a 5 day spawn and available on only one planet.
