Corellian Corvette: Made it so that going covert on the corvette doesn't work anymore from the faction recruiter timer.
Corellian Corvette: Made the codes propagate to the entire party instead of just the player using the computer.
Player Cities: Temporarily removed the inactive citizen check for player cities.

Player Cities: Temporarily removed the inactive citizen check for player cities.

Thanks,
Wow!
Please do leave it in for a week at least, so I can see it in (non-)action next update.

Can't edit, so... by "leave it in" I meant leave this change in, i.e., no inactive check. I better stop now before I confuse myself further.

As Weryn says, you can't edit postings on any board where you don't have create_thread privilege. It sure sounds like a bug to me, and I've reported it a bunch of times, but Lithium bug fixes make SWG bugfixes look like speed demons.

Why is it being removed? I agree with the earlier poster that it should be kept in. I know on my server it's cleaned out quite a few ghost towns so up and coming ones have a chance.

[holds head in hands] No, no, no, no...I didn't mean "leave the inactive check in"! I meant, if it's being removed temporarily, please make sure it's removed for at least a week - so I can verify that it works when we update next.
Go do the debate in Politician, it's hot and heavy and I'm sure this change to some extent reflects what the devs are reading there.

I think that check needs to stay in. It prevents cities from artificially inflating their numbers with "ghost citizens" from other servers who never plan on playing on the city's server ever. I actually used to be in a city like this and it was horrible. There were about 20 of us paying for close to 60 citizens just because a few people wanted a shuttleport. Needless to say it didn't last long.

There are problems with the check however, and thus the reason for temporarily suspending it. To get involved in the discussion, head to the Politician forum.

One big problem .. if someone loses citizens and the city leveldrops from say level 4 to level 3 then they lose more citizens because of the reduced land area and the houses/citizens placed outside. I think they need an inactive rule but not if just creates a continual downward spiral for all cities. Or maybe just implement a 4 month inactive rule instead of just 6 weeks.
It also drops active players who moved from one city to another.
It's really a hasseland very stressful for mayors and citizens.

This is not a Test Center issue. Nevertheless:
Or rather it DID drop them, since this is Test Center where the whole point is that they've just removed this check... buteven so... what exactly is the problem with this part? A player can only be a citizen of one city. If you have moved, you should be dropped from the old city. Otherwise you could have 10 cities consisting of the same 56 people declared again and again and again.
It also drops active players who moved from one city to another.

FYI, Dragon's Call just updated and I didn't get any lost citizen emails (and I have gotten at least one since the inactive check was put in).
