Working a new character named Bolluck, hanging out around New Unity on Naboo - hi everyone ![]()
1. HAM bars stopped updating - I noticed that my bars weren't fluctuating at all while I was fighting, but I was accumulating wounds. I decided to fight something impossible for me to kill and it incapped me, so apparently I was taking damage, it just wasn't showing on my bars.
2. The Newbie Medic quests are not working from my helper droid. I finished my artisan tasks, and now the medic one just recommends that I get artian, I say "No help needed" and it say if you need anything blah blah blah and only gives me the option of "Thanks". It never tells me what my next step is for my intro to medic.
From Sunday/Saturday...

Playback Module
- MSE droid with playback module keeps sinking below the floor at NU cantina
- when using /bandflourish the droid's action pool is depleted... it should only deplete the batteries, since a droid will not last long playing music like this
- it would be really nice to have some way to specify a droid to do a /flourish ... the /bandflourish makes everyone in the group do the same flourish and doesn't allow others to get music xp, so this is undesirable
- novice entertainers can use the droid... only novice musician+ and novice dancers+ should be able to use it - imho
- the experimentation on this module and on the Dual Wave Synthesizer has no end user effect
besides that, these are working very well!

Newb missions:
Good: Can now access different profession newb missions by using the radial menu.
Good: Droid now remembers which mission you were on and clicking on the droid will tell you what your current mission is for a given profession.
Good: No problems completing marksman missions or artisan missions (no problems for me, as a human, with completing entertainer missions other than needing to entertain 7 people... this is TC after all
)
Bad: Medic newb missions still stuck at the point of advising you to take artisan skill.
Bad: Scout newb missions still stuck at 'kill enough creatures to harvest 3 units of hide and 3 units of bone'.

There needs to be 2 levels to this feature.
There is ZERO reason for an experienced play to have to start in coronet (as happened with my 3rd TC char that I had made end of last week). On TC you have the situation where one may be setup with one or more chars already - most likely not on coronet - so the first thing after getting in the game is probably to find some money just to move to the planet they want to be on. On the live side (ignoring the upcoming 2 slot changes) there's little reason for the restriction on where I should start a new char on a new server. Most players hate coronet, and other for the chance to AFK beg I'd never want to start a char there now that I know the game.
*But* there is a lot to be said for not starting your first character, when you don't know anyone from outside the game who is playing, in some place like Nashal or Karen.
So this needs to be looked at some more, and perhaps a quick dialog needs to be re-added at this point.

On a totally different note, the factory error mentioned above is on live as well and usually has to do with the factory output hopper being 'prematurely' full (reporting as full even tho it isn't anywhere near 100/100). Empty a few crates of stuff from the hopper and then try and start things back up.
