Thread: Test Center Update Notes April 23, 2004
- New Player Quests.
1. Fixed quest corruption bug.
2. Player buildings will no longer "Complete" the "Find a med center" or "Find a cantina" quests.
3. Added a reminder to equip their weapon to the first brawler and marksman task.
4. Fixed a typo in vehicle rental device description.
5. Fixed capitalization of profession names.
6. Added a message on full inventory problem when making choice of brawler or marksman weapon.
7. Can no longer get two tickets from a single travel voucher.
8. Added band support for the entertainer final quest. Band members can now share listeners.
- Radial menu options should no longer conflict when using a droid with both a maintenance module and an effects module
- Using "Loot" on the radial menu will loot credits on the corpse if available.
- Fixed musician buffs not being applied to players
- Socket clusters should now correctly display installed crafting stations, effects, and barker modules
- Missing terminals in the DWB should reappear with proper names and descriptions
- Droid: Merchant Barker Module: Changed the functionality of the barker module to only say the message if a player passes close by, with a minimum delay of one minute.
- Fixed some shaders that became opaque but should have remained translucent
- The jetpack crafting droid will now be named "Jetpack Crafting Droid" to help avoid confusion in the room with two crafting droids.
- You should no longer be able to be trapped by the debris in the rooms off observationroom34, as the terminals should now be appearing and working properly
Vass
Argh....I guess the droid issues that people have been talking about aren't getting fixed ![]()

And here they are...

Vass
hope nobody minds my re-posting this ![]()
- using /bandflourish with the PlaybackDroid quickly depletes its action pool and should only deplete its batteries
this really decreases the effectiveness with the droids, because without using /bandflourish the music is just droning and annoying... with using /bandflourish most droids only last a minute or two
Vass, would you please see if this is as intended, and if so, why?
thanks

A DWB hunt is brewing on TC, i hope we can manage to make a JetPack, i can't wait to test that thing!
To avoid derailing this thread, please post DWB group ideas here: http://www.swgtest.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18565
I am keeping the thread updated with people's char names as they post their availability. Even if there are plenty of people for one role, post all of the chars you have that can help. We need flexibility in case some people drop. Thanks.

I believe the jetpack has no functionality in itself, but is a component required to make the mandolorian (sp?) armor.
"- Fixed some shaders that became opaque but should have remained translucent"
is this a fix for the display problem with the stars?

Problem?
As far as I know stars have always shown through planets!
Look at the moon some night and tell me you can't see the stars behind it. Pfft
