Thread: Publish 7 Feedback: New Mounts
Players have new mounts available in Publish 7: Bantha and ffice:smarttags" />
ffice" />
Were you able to purchase and ride your mounts?
How about making Creature Mounts worth having by giving a +Terrain Navigation bonus (something like +25 or so)?
As it stands now, creature mounts have no real advantage over vehicles for me.

That actually sounds like a good idea, I have a cu'pa and really don't see the purpose to having one without some kind of special.

I'm not a Bio-Engineer, but I know for a fact that a CL 10 Cu Pa (or less)is possible. Until a few weeks ago I, a non-creature handler, had a pet Cu Pa that was CL 10. Now I regret "freeing" it, the Cu Pa is really the only mount I like (well more because of it's resemblence to a Tuan Tuan), and I'll probably have to pay a lot more for a replacement....

As a bio engineer, I've had very little (read: no) luck getting a Cu Pa under CL11, for use by the common man. Going to try again tonight, again, with nothing-but-yard-trash dna and see what happens, but my impression is despite it being a CL10 skin back when it was released, it looks like a CL11+ skin now. My last several cu pa attempts, in expectation of this publish, came out as no lower than CL11. I'll make another one now that the publish 7 is actually live and see if I have any better luck, but this is first impression (even if it is just bad luck on creations, not true for other folk).

Why don't mount pets follow their masters automatically, as they did before publish 6?
When will this be fixed?
There is a report on the BE forum that a BE prepared some cu pas that were CL 10 critters until publish 7, and now they're suddenly CL 11, and thus uncallable by non-CH. What happened to change this?
When will the autostoring of mounts at random bug be fixed?
When will the HAM bar restoral bug also introduced in publish 6 be corrected?
While I haven't checked any of my pets yet, a lot of Bio-Engineers on the BE forum are reporting that, even though we were told this would not happen this patch by our developer in developer to correspondant communications, there are new validity checks on low level pets that has made some previously valid pets coming upas invalid. In preparation for this patch, I created 20 Cu Pa and 20 Bantha pet deeds of CL10 or below. If half of them are going to come up as invalid I am going to be very very upset...... The average HAM on them is 3000/2500/1800 although some of them have up to 4400 health and some as low as 2500 health. With the nerf to CL10 Probots, there will be more demand for nonCH pets then ever and I would like to knwo what is considered valid and not valid. Was the added validity check in this publish an accident? If not can someone please please please tell us what the limits on a CL10 pet should be so I can avoid allowing the clone craftign system to create more invalid pets?
