LOS is too touchy. I was trying to heal someone in the cantina, inside one of the alcoves. He was on the top step, I was sitting on the floor. I got You can not see your target. I kept getting this message until I was 0m from him, standing right inside him.


Combat wise, My commando was 17m from lairs/creature with barely a drop in the hill, I could not fire due to not being able to see a target that was in full view (maybe that one blade of grass was hideing the bol.) On naboo, I could not attack a fambaa due to a bush that covered its ankle, fambaa was not in view as far as the game was concerned, um reality check please.



had canceled because of the CU. Got talked into re subscribing just days before the NGE was started on Test Center (my home).

/cancel again and breaking CD's to be sure.

nice thing about being a online Dj..sony cant cencor what I say about this err..improvement..like they can on these forums.

I have noticed that myself but everywhere I have played ... if a target has even one small piece of itself inside a building and you try to shoot it youre told you cant see your target.

I wonder if this only applies to ranged combat. My TKM has no problems in situations like ths. In fact, its easier to pull imps away from groups this way because she can attack one, and the rest that would normaly shoot at her (granted they would shoot through the wall) just stand there while their friend runs towards me to his doom.

twice today i received a runtime error while logging off one character and onto another. The message it gave was:


Runtime error!


Program: c:\program files\starwarsgalaxiestestcentre\SwgClient_r.exe


P6025


-pure virtual function call


although im nott sure whether this was my computer or the game, but after the first time it happened i full scanned before logging on and the second time i didnt and it made no difference but both times it was switching from the same character to the same character.

This has been happening for a while and I have full scaned,updated drivers, and everything else. EVERYTIME since patch 8 went on test I can not play on it. The Frame Rate skips from 12-2 every second

Another issue with the recent Line of Sight changes introduced on April 30. A group of us tried the Death Watch Bunker on Endor May 1 and some of the Blacksun thugs/assasins were shooting THROUGH WALLS at us. Example, moving on into the 3rd(?) big room, we were in a corridor, probably around the middle or just past that trying to get to the next door. One of those aforementioned thugs got/spawned behind us and was able to shoot and hit us from THROUGH THE WALL!! I eventually targetted him via TAB key but could not return fire; "Cannot see target" message; I had to run back down the hallway and make a 90 degree turn around the corner to actually get him in my sites and be able to attack. He was postitioned just in front of the door, but in the corner right up against the wall and was madly firing away. Another thing is that the battle droids and SBD just walk right through the doors from the next room; the doors DON'T ACTUALLY OPEN, as if there was no door. So i'm targetting the thug in front of the closed door when suddenly a BD just comes running through the door and starts attacking.

Mission waypoint updates are acting funny tonight for me. Out of NU, I got two missions about 300m out to the west. Burst ran toward them until they updated, then realized that I could train in Rifles I before taking on the missions. Turned around, and went to the marksman trainer in NU. Did a little surveying on the way to the mission. When I got within 200-250m or so and as I approached, missions waypoints respawned a 2nd time. Lair was at the waypoint when I arrived, and mission paid out successfully when complete.

Mobs are "poofing" (as opposed to warping).


Dant, near Em City... hurrton stalkers, hurrton matrons, Graul (mauler, frenzied), Thune (leaders, mothers).


During the combat and generally after the mob is at about half HAM the mob will suddenly, to be technical, "poof". One time we did find the critter about 120m away, but all other times (in excess of 15 times) the critter was no where to be found. In most cases, the mobs were not associated with a spawned lair.
