Helpful Guidelines:

1. If you keep crashing to desktop, try doing a "Full Scan". You will find the Full Scan button at the bottom of your launchpad after you log in.

2. This thread is for TC Bug Reporting Only and NOT Live Servers. TC runs a different code base than Live.

3. Please post Bugs, Gameplay Problems, Exploits, and stuff that's Broken.

4. Please do not repeat bugs reports that have already been logged here. This thread is checked every day, so if its in this thread, the team has seen it.

SomeTips that are really helpful for the QA team in duplicating your reported bug:

(Being able to duplicate or "make the same bug happen again" is a key ingredient to squash the bug)

1. If something is gone, please log where the item used to be (Planet, Location X,Y)

2. If you find an NPC that doesn’t work, please provide a Name, Planet, Location X,Y

Thanks!

Please note this is an In Test only thread. Please do not respond to it if your answer does not relate to the issue as it stands on the Test Center galaxy. Off topic or unconstructive posts will be removed without warning.

the new LOS changes are a real pain in the ass whe you get near hills or god forbid cliffs. With the combination of melee/pistoleer its not all that bad but I've realized a number of times i've had to go prone as close as 20m or 25m in order to "see" the thing I want to shoot at even though its in plain sight to my char just on the other 'hump' of a rolling hills. My rifleman would *hate* the current state of this change with a passion.

Question for the devs as much as the testers....

Currently you "cannot see your target" if your target is a full-sized graul standing behind a small foot-wide tree or a foot-high rock.

Will the LOS changes also account for the targets we most certainly CAN see?

Long ago they were cool. Now they're everywhere, and hard to tell apart.

Everytime I crash to desktop and then try to log back in I get stuck at the connecting to galaxy thread, I then have to restart the client and I enter the game as normal.

and Why are battle droids stronger then droidekas in swg? In the movies battle droids are the weakest of all the droids in the droid army, however in SWG they are made out to be super freaks, even the super battle droids are way to strong, clone troppers easily handled battle droids and super battle droids, yet in swg a super battle droid would probably defeat a canyon krayt dragon, anyone see anything wrong with this?

Droideka

HAM 15,000 est

Light Armor

Kinetic - 40%

Energy - 55%

Blast - 10%

Heat - 25%

Cold - 25%

Stun - 40%

Acid - 40%

Electricity - none

Battle Droid

HAM 67,000 est

MediumArmor

Kinetic - 75%

Energy - 75%

Blast - 100%

Heat - 60%

Cold - 100%

Stun - 85%

Electricity - 25%

FIX THIS DEVS, Batlle droids are INFERIOR to droidekas, dont you remeber jedi running from them in the phantom menace? don't you remember jedieasilydestroyingbattle droids, stop being so hell bent on making the game more difficult for elite players by creating these idiodic super mobs that don't make any sence in the star wars universe and make the game more challenging the right way, not the easy way

Hi,

I havee been testing LoS on TC, looking to ways of taking advantage of terrain when hunting. My conclusións are:

1: It works pretty good, you can use a tree to cover, so the rest of the lair dont have direct sight on you, and conbining with Mask Scent I can pull one out of the group.

2: Hills and little tops works good too.

3: Another tactic I ahve use is to put my Droid (Has a Trapping module and a Harvest Module) in line of sight of the Lair, then I cover with a tree / Hills Top / etc. After setting this I tell my droid to throw a trap on the target, then ONLY that target will aggro my Droid,I let him to start beating my droid and then I fire on the Target and kill it. First this is workingfor two reasons:

a) The whole lair wont aggro my Droid even if they have direct LoS.

b) I drag the target 50 to 60 mts from the lairs.

On a side note i will say that if I press peace during this process I will stop the fight completely, and the target will still atackinig my droid. Also if Trap fails the target wont react against my droid.

I dont know if this is an exploit, if so, please TH, send me a message or post here

I want now to start testing using structures as cover, like harvs or houses.
