Thread: Publish 9 Feedback: Bounty Hunter Droids going to 0,0,0

There are seeming 2 seperate problems here TH:
1. Droids will give the waypoint of 0,0 on a particualr planet, most offen the planet the Jedi is, or was on very recently.
and
2. Droids will ONLY give the location of where the Jedi logged on, and no other location.
I personally have very rarly seen the 0,0 problem since the lsat patch, but the droids giviing out the location of where the Jedi logged on seems to be continuing on...I havent got a REAL waypoint since before the Jedi wernt appearing on the terms like 2 patches ago (remember when you devs broke them?
)
I hope thats enough info.
PS To the rest of the BH out there, either answers the devs questions or shut up!! Hijacking a thread is NOT going to help us out in the LEAST...

And they wonder why we complain about the BH profession, I would say this is the probably buggiest profession. I wish they would fix this stuff. I am holding off on doing any Investigations with the bugs. Come on DEV'S, lets get this stuff fixed. I know, DEV's Don't listen too much to us. LOL

Sorry, I know it is off topic but for crimmeny sakes! TH is trying to get info to help debug and fix one of the major issues with mission tracking for BH's and all people can do is ask about other things. He will read it, sure, but he will not respond. Hijacking does nothing but cause the Dev to close his ears a bit more to the issue you are hijacking about.
You don't have to tell him it's broken, he knows that. Why do you think he's asking for info? Out of the current 17 responses, only 3 are on topic and only have marginal information. With these results, I give kudos to the Devs for even posting to try and fix an issue since this is the response they get.
I will grind to novice BH tonight and go buy some droids and report back as to their effects in game.

Not sure if it's the 0, 0 bug, but I have had 3 missions today with "no shows", no bounty!!!
Server: Ahazi
Planet: 1st time Talus, 2nd time Dath, 3rd Time Talus
Location: 1st time about 2K South of Nashal, 2nd time about 4-5K Southwest of Science Outpost, 3rd time was about 3-4K Souteast of Nashal

I am Rebel factioned. I tracked6 Jedi last night, 1 of themtwice. I never received the 0,0 waypoint, however it still has issues.
On 2 of the missions, one leading to Yavin 4 and another to Dathomir the waypoints given where one of the starports the player must have arrived at and they never updated beyond that point.
On 3 missions to Dantooine and 1 toDathomir the droids did track beyond the starport but once I got the first waypoint it continued to give the same waypoint over and over, never updated further.
On a few occasions Ranger Player tracking was used to attempt to locate the players and worked a few times but even that was buggy. On repeated attempts one after the other I would see some players on one attempt and some on another but never the same players everytime.
Of the 6 Jedi I actually visually located 3 of them, one Jedi twice in seperate missions. The Jedi I found twice was Imperial factioned. The first time I found her on Dantooine I was not able to attack her even though I had the mission, no targetable. The second time I found her on Dathomir I was able to attack her. I found herby pure luck. She had just died to a rancorand was coming out of the cloner while I was at the starport about to leave. I did attack andincap her however I did not deathblow as losing 400k XP in under 5 minutes is just wrong, Jedi or not. The other Jedi I found was also on Dathomir, a neutral player, and I was not able to target or attack the player.

I am at work now, so do not have WPs.
However, since the patch i have had several(every one i tried) missions where i got a WP, but it NEVER updated.

Tatooine, dantooine, dathomir, endor, yavin, naboo (most of these on several occasions)
Each time i sent up a probe, i got a wp on the planet. I get to the planet, and the WP never updates. No matter how many times i relaunch a seeker or probe, the WP stays the same.
I have tried dropping the mission on the jedi, and grabbing it again. The WP given is STILL the flawed, non-updating one from the first one.
please stop trying to hijack this thread.....if you have an issue, most likely your correspondent has already emailed the developers.

None of my missions since patch 9 have tracked correctly. (maybe 10 missions)
Most often they give a WP for a shuttle or login place for the Jedi. this has been confirmed with some of my marks.
Only once had the 0,0 bug.

I had got the missions from Mos-Eisley, arkynd said Dantooine when i got there it reported 0,0
Launched a seeker and this continued t give 0,0
TH this is not a new bug since Patch 9, it has been around as long as droids havent been working.
And for those hi-jacking the thread, no wonder things never get fixed.

Also reported in testing and by /bug from TC-2. My BH on TC-2 tested and verified this bug on 3 Jedi hunts (with co-op of the Jedi being hunted)

Haven't had any issues with the wp being at 0,0. But every mission I have taken has had a non-updating waypoint. It has been this way for me since publish 8. The only time I could actually find a jedi was when he was afking on a rooftop (as he hadn't moved since logging in). Often times after conversing with the jedi, they hadn't even been on the planet where the waypoint was still updating for over 3 hours.
