I have a question :
(taken from a thread on a 3rd party Jedi forum)
From Archives Vol II:
Please, can you tell us when these modifiers will be going in as I am assuming we are testing post-balance levels.
Currently, in PvE, I can flurry a Rancor with 40%+ Kinetic resist for 6400ish
On TC2 I can flurry the same rancor for 1400 damage using the same level of saber.
That means that on TC we have a 75% overall damage reduction, meaning in PvP we have 75% of 75% damage, making Jedi the lowest DPS profession in the game.
What modifiers will be added, and to what level, and will we get chance to test these out before the patch goes live, as many Jedi are getting a bit worried here...

From Archives Vol II:
The lightsaber values of lightsabers have been put in line with the damage outputs of our combat balance values. We have also lowered the maximum potential of crystals and pearls to be more in line with the new scales of the combat system. The numbers may appear to be a bit low to what current Jedi see on their lightsabers now, but don't worry! We will apply behind the scenes values so the new lightsabers will deal the same amount of damage as pre-patch values until we push the combat balance live.

SOE has made a major blunder and it will be the downfall of this game.
Because you have made Jedi a BRAG type prof. Or what’s also known as a “Ima super l33t [H]ard c0r3 “ player showoff prof. Everyone is scrambling to become Jedi.
Holo grinding has made the game dull and boring because 75% of the players are not playing the game. They are just going through and grinding profs. as fast as they can to become Jedi. MMOGG or Massive Multiplayer Online GRINDING Game because there is no roll playing going on here.
Now you add Jedi TRIALS??? OMG how many Jedi do you want in the game??? In the “REAL” Star Wars what % of the people were Jedi? Well if you say 90% like its going to be in this game then you are dead wrong!!!
DEVs you have 2 choices:
1: Make Jedi a STANDARD prof. that uses all your SP and is a little stronger the BH or Commando.
2: Get rid of ALL player Jedi because “REAL” Jedi would be too powerful and would cause a total game imbalance.
THIS GAME HASE GONE OUT OF THE DEVS CONTROLL AND WILL BE HEADED FOR CERTAIN DOOM.
Wait till 90% of the players are master Jedi… Oh that will be a lot fun!
Can you say EQ2??????

If you fix nothing else before you release, make sure that losing connection when going through the conversion process doesnt permenantly screw your jedi over. Other bugs can be fixed in the days and weeks after the patch, but people that have spent many months working on there jedi are gonna quit if they lose all there work because of buggy conversion.
