The politician, Victor, has a series of new quests for players to experience as part of the Bestine political intrigue saga. When Victor is in power, help him find out what is so dangerous in the desert!fficeffice" />

Players, were you able to explore Victors quests? What did you find?

WAIT, Does this mean VICTOR already WON theelection? I certainly hope not since he sucks.

Read more carefully. TH said "When Victor is in power," so I'm sure it's safe to assume that he has to be in power in the first place.

We're organizing a "Vote for Victor to test his endgame" campaign on Test Center. Hopefully we can get him tested thoroughly, but people keep voting for sean as they all want more rugs.

This is the very same concern I've brought up for the Live servers. People want rugs, but Imperials want the banner that Rebels easily thru their themepark.

I noticed when I went to talk with victor I was already assigned to the quest. I never accepted it but was expected to go kill a powerful tusken in the bowels of fort tusken! I don't think so! :-)

I went to another npc who said I was already in another quest and asked if I wanted out of it. I figured it was the vistor one so I said yes and opted out. When I went back to victor later he STILL acted like I was in the quest! This quest is like the annoying rleative that comes to vist and never goes away!! arrrggggg!!!! ;-)

This is bugged to high heaven atm..

When Victor is in office, he automatically responds as though you have the quest. Even if you choose the "I quit" option it stays that way.

It is also no longer possible to join Victors campaign when the election is going on - as all he responds with is the new Tuskan quest info.

Couple of comments. Victor's reward is kind of lame. Someone got it on TC the other night, and for the amount of headache required to actually get this quest done, it certainly was anti-climatic. Here's the reward:

Lithinium Rifle
Light AP
Speed 5.5
Damage 85-308

Looks like a Tusken Rifle. No skill mods. Master Riflemen will still choose their T21 with the Speed cap, since shooting a Heavy Piercing weapon at 1.0 speed will win out over any Light Piercing weapon. My advice is to boost it up to Medium AP, shave off 1.0 from the speed, and double the damage numbers. Also make it a schematic. Maybe add in special componants needed for itat the Fort.

As far as the actual mobs themselves... THANK YOU!!!! This was a challenge and I haven't had my heart beating like that in a battle in a long long time. Even the Acklay was lame compared to taking on these Tuskens. It was a blast and I know the Live players will be more than happy to work at taking down thee spawns.

Just for a reference, the first battle we had of the night was with a Tusken Observer. About 245k HAM, Various resists and Heavy Armor. We had about 15 people and pets beating on it overall. It took us about 10 minutes to kill it, give or take a couple minutes. We had a Doc with some CM skills and between normal attacks and a well applied disease, by the time the battle was over the Tusken had over 100k Health Wounds. The Tusken Executioner has close to 300k HAM and a few beafier resists and took a bit longer, though I wasn't there for that one.

Summary: Kickass mobs, fun challenge, lame reward. Work on the reward and you have yourself a winner.
